Difficult to sneak up on a wild hog without its noticing. He can somewhat do it because he is on water & they don't associate water noises with danger. But the moment he places his oar down on the boat, they hear it & are spooked. They are incredibly intelligent animals, especially the elderly ones.

I was thinking that a clever way for an 1887 lever action shotgun ring would to be take a bolt off of a bolt action just to stick that connects to the bolt so you can load the thing and put it on the right side so your brace and on the front of the rifle never leaves but you're shooting finger and hand can go to the bolt and sit in the Palm instead of busting your knuckles up I noticed you had paracord on it because of that you could just put a little ball on the side that sticks out a little on the right side that way you can Palm kick it and then you could really slap fire that thing

Good stuff mate. I'm currently running Black Hawk Ammo thru the gun. However, the best hitting power is the Winchester PDX1 which contains 3 x ball bearings and a solid in the one load.

Hi Mate, great video. Can you please comment on how smooth the lever action is? Aussie reviews did a review years back and stated how the action was a little difficult 'out of the box' . What's your experience? Does it loosen up over time?
@HuntingwithStu
@HuntingwithStu 2 жыл бұрын
It isn't smooth as silk but it is suited to aussie conditions. I had a slick kit put in and it helps heaps. Ya gotta treat it like a mungrel dog n work that lever like it owes ya money. 2 and 3/4 inch shells are better to cycle than 3 inch. You can also get the working parts machined which smooths it right out.
