In the Cotswold Village of Ablington for a Morning Stroll

So, today we are out and about walking in the Cotswold village of Ablington, which is located in the county of Gloucestershire, England. The village is situated on the Coln Valley and is part of Bibury's civil parish. Cirencester is Ablington's Post town which is 6 miles (9.7 km) northeast of the village and also just about a mile away or less from Bibury.

Stunning walk today, Ablington's gorgeous in Autumn...oranges, reds, golds, popping yellows...leaves carpeting everywhere (so sterile without them). Coln swollen from rains and running fast, her clearness unreal (everything here murkey and muddy). That one stone fence growth looks like a Scotty, notice it? 🚶was riding a speeding horse, what a fella! YES, thanks for letting me puruse the roadside library, uh, you go on ahead, it'll take me acouple months if not more to read all the delicious looking plots📚📖.

​@@OutandaboutWalking Aye! One of those rare days, time be slower ticking than me, I get a kick outta beating it to the punch once in awhile, keep it in its place and all that malarkey. Ooops I should've given better description, the fauna growth betwix the stones shaped itself into a Scotty dog, sorta, ifn ya don't use a magnifying glass, just wisk a side glance at it, twice by your route. Mr🌞 is in Winter mode, rises 1½hrs from now (±1pm UK), sets at 5:30 (±11pm UK), so do me best to watch/comment by UK's BigBen.

Love your videos. Just a suggestion...instead of sounds of muddy wellies down rain soaked pathways and trails, place some mellow music and some occasional commentary. Just a thought.

Hi, Nick. Thanks for your suggestion :). I can’t ever recall wearing wellies on a walk, but my footsteps may have sound louder than usual due to using the in camera audio as opposed to the usual binaural microphones in my ear. And at this time of year the ground does tend to be very soggy and often muddy. Adding commentary or narration to the walks is not my thing to be honest, I prefer to try & concentrate on the filming (which I am still trying to improve on ). I do occasionally add music to a video tho if I think it warrants it but generally I prefer to keep to the soundtrack of nature and also that you can play your own BG music if you wish. I can recommend an excellent channel that does have good music over his walks which is @jagoturner . Thanks again. Have a good week. OAAW
