Wow! wet roads there, not very usual. Less as you get closer to Cobar, there's usually a force field around Cobar that pushes back the rain. That was a truck tub for a mine truck. Really cool, save the handbag day. Awesome video, guys. Cheers

Nice vid! Hey I hope you both are recovering okay. Those goats, a couple locals told me they're pretty covenient for picking one up for a bunch of meals in the chest freezer heheh. That's a nice story about the handbag being riders and along the way. Great pics at the end as always!

I thought unless I absolutely have to wear them then I will leave them off, down the track I absolutely have to wear them

I wore them (the day before this video was made, on the same roads as Paul and phil ride in this video) and rode 660 kms in the rain, (from bourke to Broken Hill), problem with them is the water creeps up the boots and wets the bottom of your pants, it also creeps up the top of the pants and goes under the jacket wetting your shirts and top of you pants.. and once wet, you stay wet. Not wearing them means they have more of a chance of drying once the rain/shower/puddle that wet you has passed. But they are also a good wind breaker. So now I wear my rain jacket over the top of the leathers to keep warmer while riding in winter.
