Watch your back! You are so young that you don’t feel the damage yet. Thanks for the video. I hurt my back from doing everything without feeling pain but over time, I had to pay it with a herniated disc that almost put me in a wheel chair! Do everything you can to take extreme care of your back!

Nice use of trolley. I was impressed how you carried around 90 lbs with your hands that far though . Great demonstration of strength :)

Great vids Chris, watched 5 now ...Having bought a 3.5 honwave on a trailer with a 15 hp S/SHAFT 2 STROKE Suzuki with trolley wheels 2 months ago I stupidly thought I could pull the boat on the trolley wheels set up with Engine over the beach n shingles...oh yes ...for 10 yards, then stop , panting, back hurting, sweating ...I think after watching your vids I will save for an Engine trolley ! liked n subbed thanks .

One thing that might already have crossed your mind would be to make the trolley clamping area the same thickness as your transom so you dont have to spend so much time winding the clamps in and out. Good video though showing the product, thanks for that.

looks like youve been pumping iron there chris good to see you got a lifting belt on also im sure putting the out board and stuff in side the boat and taking all in one go maybe stopping for a breather on way up would be quicker than doing 4 trips back and forth the car i watched a few of your videos they are great keep up the great work

Absolutely perfect video to help understand the benefit of this trolly. Can you give detail of where this was purchased and it’s max weight? I ask as I have found some but the weight limit vary in them. I have a 15 HP at 47kg and want to know if this type of trolly is suitable.

Hm, I wonder if putting larger wheels on that trolley might make it easier on rougher terrain. Thanks for the video. I'm already wrecking my arms carrying my new 9.8.
@Luisiramone4 жыл бұрын
Great video Chris! You have a great collection of videos! Quite practical ones! Would you be able to pull the outboard in that trolley on a shingle beach? Would it not sink and you may need to drag rather than pull taking more efforts than carrying? Would you be able to pull the boat in the same shingle beach without it sinking in the gravel?
@Julie362853 жыл бұрын
Great video Chris, I have the identical set us as you a Honwave 3.8 air deck and Tohatsu 9.8 short shaft with electric start. I must say I can only just manage to lift the outboard for short distances and as you get older you learn to appreciate labour saving devices. Just a comment but I must say that the outboard and trolley looks like it has a high centre of gravity and low wheel base and might tip over on rough ground, is that a concern?

Can you not find a strong carry bag with a shoulder strap?
@gavintaylor947811 ай бұрын
You need to get a set of wheels that attach to the transom, then you pull the boat and motor at the same time, no need for a trolley

Ok, but what about a toha 9.8 2stroke? 26kg weight. Why do you used 4 stroke?

Because we can only buy 4 strokes here for non commercial use.

Very informative video Chris,well done....I've actually ordered one from a supplier in Germany(before I saw your video!).....it'll be here in a few days(France).....I'm looking forward to an easy journey to the waters edge! I actually clicked on the amazon link and it says out of stock,i was just curious about the price....it looks the same as the one I've ordered and same ish price. There's a video on KZbin where this model is shown being putting the outboard straight onto the transom,have you seen it? All the best....Herb

Weak point is where the handle bolts on mine has bent and buckled at the joint I braced with a simple flat bar handle to main spine this fixed it I wrote to maker and said it had a weak point but they didn't agree I have quite a few bent at that point due hole's or ruts in car/dinghy Park causing heavy 4 to 8hp going over to one side...

Oh boy, the 2 cil 4stroke are not really portable. I will stick to my 6hp which is more fuel efficient too. Why not put docking wheels on your boat and roll out the complete combination.
