I have a 1993 Mariner 40hp Magnum(3 cylinders) outboard with average105 lb compression. After being parked any length of time, an airlock develops in the fuel system right before the carburetor., so that the motor will not start. Everything has been serviced. I open the fuel line right at the carburetor and pump the bulb until all the air in the fuel line is released until I get a steady jet of fuel. Then reconnect the fuel line. Then the motor starts up right away and rune fine. I have checked all line connections, serviced the carburetor and serviced the fuel pump. What can the problem possibly be?

Great videos!! I just bought an old Humber RIB project on the back is a Suzuki DT200 v6 2 stroke, would you be able to set this engine up for me before I get stuck into to the fixing up of the RIB?
