I always liked AA games and I don’t mind a little jack. My problem is when the publishers of those AA games try to sell it at full price. I would love to play this game but not for $70! It’s a wait for sale for me.

I'm looking forward to this after playing the demo, I put in my preorder Monday on my PS5. I have been really enjoying some of the games that THQ has been pushing in the AA space whether it's Elex 1 & Elex 2 or before that the Risen Series. All good games in their own way, and each seemingly building on what they learned with each game. Do you have any thoughts on the Gothic Remake? it looks really good to me.

I loved this game. Lots of Just Cause-like verticality and beautiful scenery. The dialog can get a bit cringy but the gameplay is fantastic.

I’ve played the original outcast. I’ve noticed some differences in the world building. Like helidium. Green and red helidium was used as a currency with the recreators to make ammo. that’s fine. Kinda miss the ai cutter had in his headset would say HK P12 ammo located. Or foreign vegetation with high levels of adrenaline dectected. I digress. 6hrs in and I’m loving it. So much good dialogue in this game. A lot and I mean a lot of sarcasm from the protagonist. Lot of witty comments had me dying laughing. I’m honestly looking forward to playing more.

I don't know why there is such disparity in prices around the world. This game in my country is absolutely priced fairly as a AA game. I haven't bought it myself yet, but I tried the demo, and I had more fun in this game compared to Avatar which I bought full priced for.

Absolutely agree on all points. Loved the first game and this sequel absolutely delivered. Price point is definitely too high, however it was 47€ as preorder on Steam and I feel that that was a good price for it.

Good graphics aren't worth much when world interactivity (scripting) and good writing both are below par. It's a feast for the eyes, but doesn't fill the soul. Good graphics sell though, because it's the first thing you'll notice. And that superficial behavior is taken advantage off in many more situations, even beyond gaming.

Its amazing only issue i have is when Im getting shot and i try to use my shield and shoot the graphics start getting choppy ask stupid hope they fix and wonder if it'll get a expansion that would be crazy

Yup I got the game and I'm enjoying it also. It's a big adventure and the gunplay and mechanics just work and don't feel janky. I'm happy with it. Yeah the price is a little high but I love games so I'll pay the price for a game I like 👍

I picked this up and am really enjoying it so far. It’s def a AA or even a B game but that doesn’t mean bad. I hate how the industry now looks at any game that doesn’t have AAA production values as not worth your time. This is a videogame ass videogame and I’m down with that. Also sucks it’s more money there. It’s actually $20 cheaper than new release AAA games here.

The people who made Avatar frontiers of Pandora should play this game and see how better this game is. Every thing do in the game in the third person view, not like the Avatar frontiers of Pandora is played in first-person view and it looks shit playing in first person view. They need to add a third-person view in new update. I think the outcast, a new beginning, looks good, and gameplay is good.

Also loving the game. The amount and quality of dialog is great. And reminds me of older rpgs with multiple npcs who will all give you info on same topics based on their individual personality and experience. And the way this game makes all the side " fetch quest tie together is brilliant. It succeeds at the far cry 5/ just cause 3 non linear quest progression where those games failed Love the environment and art style. Love how

You know I've been so disappointed with most new games where everybody about how real things look but there's no real story point or drive to finish the game u put in 2 hours and wow I just bought 4 games and don't even care if I finish them lol I still play Zelda on the N64 dark cloud neir on Xbox original callouts atom rpg blood born dark souls 1 2 3 fallout serries ...another over looked on is both ridicks escape butcher bay low graphics dark Athena still low graphics but you feel like part of the game it drives you I'd rather spend 100$ on a game I'll play for years then 3 $50 games I'll quit after 2 hours

To the people who would say wait for a sale i say shame on you. When you give full price to the established AAA franchise but wait for a sale on the maybe overpriced AA you hinder the growth of these smaller studios . Why not invert that and wait for a sale on the EA or Ubisoft or Bethesda title who have already found success and are not bring anything new but actually regressing and yet the masses pay. And instead pay full price to support the efforts of the AA and maybe eith support their next game can be better

i also grew up with stargate and farscape and i am sick and tired of the modern writing of everything being a joke and the main character being some cringe short hair non binary woman. From what i have seen this game does not have classic writing and the open world seems to be another of large massive map that you go around and do repetitive saints row and ubisoft timed shoot outs with enemies keep attacking in waves. I f its not that its the "solve the problems for the faction of each region to unlock the main quest" Games are not made like morrowind and new vegas and witcher 3 anymore.
