Check forum first before asking why it stopped at Tooling/initializing! overwatch updates ALOT so try to update the quickdatatool first before asking "DURRR WHY IET NO WURKZZZ?!?!?!" still dont work, check forums last page for info, and if anything be patient till the guys update the software :)

either your overwatch is outdated or your casclib file, like i said in the beginning of the video, check the forums linked in the description for additional info, overwatch keeps updating so the files to extract also need updating.

My process stops after Finding and gives error.... Unhandled Exception: System.DllNotFoundException: Unable to load DLL 'librevorb.dll': The specified module could not be found. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x8007007E)

Disable the conversion of sounds. The dll called libreverb.dll is for x86 only, you're probably running the tool on x64 (which is required for Overwatch).

i have the bob model fully unfolded for pepakura in my fb group workshop weeners, you could port those back to 3d obj files however direct ingame models are not great for direct 3d printing... very low poly and no thickness to them.

I will begin my work on bobs arm parts after midterms week has ended but I am wondering if you or someone you know has any Ashe pepakura arm files? Hi Wayne, Thank you for making this tutorial. I have a question. How do I keep the model upright? When I delete the model skeleton, it does something weird and lays it flat on the grid. I'm not really great with blender, so I'm a bit confused as to why did that instead of staying straight up like in your tutorial.

MeilingT888 some models do that. Select the model, hit R to rotate and then x,y or z to rotate on that axis

Hmm I have a problem that it just stops extracting gives no error or anything "Loading APM TactManifest/Win_SPWin_speech_RDEV_LenUS_EExt.apm Using CMF procedure 47452 Mapping... Adding Encryption Keys... Tooling... Initializing..." thats where it stops nothing after that.

always update quickdatatool first, and check the forum also for casclib updates, overwatch updates often so everytime the devs of the extraction tool have to update with them, sometimes takes a few days, check the forum, link in description. also the entire command must be correct, if its a skin you can always just try to just enter the hero name and let the software run to extract them all, youll still get the one you want in the end ;)

Steven Cano it's pretty picky about it's command line. It does work though, I just extracted all torbjorn skins so should be working

Actually, after messing around with the QuickDataTool for a bit I found out it doesn't work with the current version of Overwatch and I've got no idea if it will be updated... Probably best to learn to use the datatool using cmd

apparently its listed as a hero, when i list it, its apparently called "Training Bot" but i tried to extract it myself but indeed doesnt seem to want to do it, sorry man, for heroes it seems to work fine but not Npcs (yet)

initalizing stuck is usually because its named wrong, for example, Lúcio has to be typed with that thingi on the u and not typed as lucio, try something simple like Tracer or Pharah, and then without all the filters

Katie Patterson once you extracted a character, there is a folder in that character folder called textures. Usually it's 1 of the biggest size files, you can simply drag and drop them onto your model in blender, make sure model is selected/highlighted or switched to edit mode

its updated, download it, run it, then go into "help and update" and run the updater. overwatch just released a new patch a few hours ago so a new casclib is needed, check the facepunch forums last page to see once that drops so everything works again, a little patients is sometimes needed
