With the new DLC doing this make sense to take USA navy without annexing.

@@beastclarke I know, but is a good idea. I was looking for early USA invasion and found this so it helped for my idea. They also added a new Chinese mechanic to flood yellow River and makes the Japan invasion more annoying so makes sense going for USA.

on the new DLC its so aids to take USA early i always get stuck on fuel and their navy pounding me

1080 I'm pretty sure. I think it was the recording software and editing compression that made it a bit blurry, sorry

@@just1it1moko probably, there was an AI change, apparently they garrison more territory now, happens a but more with the UK

easier to get port access in germany, invade UK, annex Canada, and invade USA from there.

I followed all your advice to the t, but my navy got decimated to the point where I couldn't even transport any troops to my bases and I lost all my convoys. My marine divisions also died and I lost the port in Attu Island. I could never even make a landing on the U.S. mainland. Wtf? Do I need to have all the DLCs you have or some shit? I don't have every DLC.

this is an older version of hoi4, I've tried the same thing myself in the current version and it didn't go the way I wanted

should be, I don't think too much has changed unless the plane designer somehow nerfs base Japanese aircraft, or new AI code makes the US actually station sufficient naval forces below Alaska. I haven't tried it in the new DLC to be honest

Lol, I can't even land on the US coast, always get out of fuel even with sacrificing convoys (not protecting them) & switching to full civs on oil after building a naval base in Alaska.
