Phew, what a run.
The idea for this speedrun was made for fun, as a little challenge for me to do. I had no intentions of making an actual speedrun of it, but I decided to bite the bullet.
FAQs that I'm probably gonna get:
- What's the route?
Demo 0, Demo 1, Demo 2 (Ancient, and Factory.), SAGE 2019 Demo (Pizzascape, The Ancient Cheese, Bloodsauce Dungeon, and Snick's Challenge.), Noise's Hardoween, and Peppino's Xmas Break.
- Where's GOLF?
GOLF is commonly regarded as a joke demo, and if I were to have it in there, I'd probably have to include The Peter Griffin Experience and Christmas Race Build by that logic.
- Why did you play Snick's Challenge?
Just kinda felt like I should include it, since it was an unlockable level in SAGE. (But by that logic, I should've included Ancient Challenge and Factory Challenge from Demo 2, oopsie.)
Since this is (probably) the first run of this category to exist, some stuff are a bit rough, so take it easy on me, please.
Also, I mainly did this for fun. I might do a better run in the future, but I honestly don't see that happening right now.

yeah, the game really changed a lot! i kinda like the aspect of the levels being linear, but the change of levels being less linear is a well appriciated change, as i feel like it could be used for another game perhaps. the pacing of pizza tower is also a very welcome change, as the wario land 4 rush mechanic and hurry up mechanic with a bit of changes and additions make things really nice

You can really see how the demos (and all around builds in general prior to the full release) had the Wario Land gameplay and concept within them evolve into something that is more of it's own, while retaining the original idea. I find that change much more welcoming, as it made Pizza Tower something a lot more fun through and through.

yeah, pizza tower sure has become it's own thing over time, and i'd say it was for the better in some instances. when compared to wario land 4, pizza tower's gameplay is more chaotic, tense, and speedy than wl4. honestly, i wonder what pt would've been like if it was closer to wario land, in terms of gameplay

heh, sorry for having the same idea as you before lol thanks btw! as for the grinch build and golf, they're commonly regarded as joke builds, that aren't really up to snuff as the other builds. like i said in the description, if i were to play through them in the run, i'd probably have to include the peter griffin experience as well
