Im super confused. Why are the gods seemingly so weak? Everyone acts like they have the power to wipe a clan off a server. Also that building isnt even made of black ice which i thought was the strongest buildings.

Devs nerfed the gods a while ago, they were way stronger before. I forgot to mention I was using the default settings in my server, so nothing was influencing the destruction (or lack of it) of the base. I was surprised they've made them weak. I think some people were used to how strong they were before, Yog wiping full bases, etc and they didn't change their attitude towards them now lol :P

No one asked yet :). I could have placed the music info in my video description, but I usually only do it when it's music that does not belong to the game. For those avatars, I've used some tracks from Conan Exiles OST (check this video kzbin.info/www/bejne/e5yrmWqEe96KZ6M ). For the Set music, I've used the one at the minute 55:06 (called Cimmera Lowlands Night 02) from that OST video. For Mitra, I've used the one at 57:40 (Wildlands of Zelata Day). And for Yog, I've used the music at 01:06:33 (Main Titles).

Hi sure. Avatars/gods are mostly used to destroy players bases, but I suggest watching a video I've made this year instead, since this one above was made in the time devs nerfed avatars too much (not anymore) - kzbin.info/www/bejne/oYWnq6WHeLZ2i9E - but they're also useful if you plan to kill a big amount of NPCs that belong to other players too, but there may be better alternatives, since you can always use orbs (fire, grease, gaseous or water) or explosive jars if you are not up to use the avatars or playing on a server that has them disabled to raid bases. After unlocking a religious altar, you'll need resources and to craft things from the altars recipes in order to be able to upgrade them, since you'll need a tier 3 altar to craft the item needed to summon the avatar, as well with an archpriest from that altar's religion, which you need to capture in some camps/points of interest from the map. conanexilesmap.com can be useful to find priests (from tier 1 to 4 - tier/level 3 and 4 priests are the archpriests you should capture). Once you have crafted the item needed from the altar (ex. "True Name of Yog" medallion if you got a Yog's religion altar), put it in your hotbar and select it so it will be invoked, I advice to only invoke the avatar when you're close to someone else's base, as they move slowly (can't invoke within the player's base land claim radius, but close to it you can).

And trust me, it takes many hours to learn everything in this game, I play since early access, and when the devs fully released the game last year, they've changed a lot of stuff, taking from me even more time to re-learn the things they've changed, and I think I haven't learned everything haha! It's not hard to figure out how a couple of things work through your gameplay, but for sure there are many things that will require several hours to figure out by your own or some research to learn how they work or what they are used for, not counting with the several places of the map where you can find different kinds of things :).

Yes in several cases. It may take a while, depending of the time you'll take to gather the resources needed to upgrade your owned temples (depending also of the server gathering rate settings) and craft the items from them in order to obtain enough things to summon them. It does take some hours specially if you're playing solo - and you'll need an archpriest from the specific religion you want to summon the avatar from for this to become possible. I advice to check conanexilesmap.com just in case you are not finding archpriests in the points of interest you visit to look for them.

Took 3 clans to take out my solo base on 3561 pvp 5 months unraided many failed attempts lol Even with 3 clans they still missed some rooms i logged in and despawned everything They messaged saying they are shocked at how difficult my base was as a solo guy i built all of that by myself lol and the defence with thralls and pets set up my archers had explosive and star metal arrows some had poison 🤣🤣😂😂😂 they said it was hard to get in and once they breach the 1st def they had more fighting and inside the building greater sabres and tigers and queens 😂😂😂🤣🤣 i quit conan took me a longtime to build and that and have parts broken had 20 greater apes in and greater wolves and tigers in ice box they took everything but missed the room with legendary armor and weapons and over 30thralls in boxes i despawned everything

What does Derketo's attack do?

It is supposed to damage bases like the other avatars do. It does not seem much effective for the lower floors of a base though, I would rather step over the buildings instead of using these "breath" attacks.

​@@Chaos_Cultist Nothing wrong with your English or grammar in your comment, also don't worry, English is not my native language either :). I think every avatar attacks kill creatures around them (if they touch them) that you can farm later actually. Her dark purple breath damages enemies, buildings and objects, while the green/poisonous breath you've mentioned has two functions: it kills enemies but also heals your clan mates. I think Derketo and probably all the other avatars attacks deal damage to any creature or element (trees) they touch. I think Derketo is too tall and the attacks/breath don't reach the ground easily, so I suppose it is most likely she'll destroy the living creatures with her feet instead :P

You're welcome! you'll need to defeat the Witch Queen at her palace. And you should be able to unlock the armor recipe at her throne (press E while aiming at the throne). You need an archpriest (level 3 or 4 priest) on your tier 3 altar - is that the one you've got? You'll also need 500 manifestations of zeal for the stone/"True Name of..." item.

I think avatars shouldn't be really nerfed again, it's not only a little bit of a pain to get them, but also I think solo players should still have some chances of "winning" clans in a way, since clans will always be in advantage in this kind of games due to being more players working together to get stuff faster than only one player does in a certain amount of time.

Just make sure you'll play on a server with the avatars enabled. Some servers disable the ability of summoning them. You'll also be needing to capture a level 3 (or above) priest thrall and have a tier 3 temple in order to summon the avatars. Just some info you may need :)

I left the avatar duration with the default time under my single player game settings, but that can be always changed, since 60 seconds is very few time for such slow moving avatars. Well, Yog did some damage to the house, but did not destroy it, I've made this video in the time developers nerfed avatars and they were not dealing much damage to structures, I was quite surprised though, they used to deal a lot of damage, specially Yog that was good at that. I hope they've changed them and they worth summoning now though. Yog should still be a good option I guess.

Some servers have their lifetime extended (more than just 1 minute), but they're still very slow and such. Maybe using explosives instead is the best choice at times.

I had the items needed in my hotbar to summon the avatars ("True Name of Yog", "True Name of Derketo" and so on, something like this - conanexiles.gamepedia.com/True_Name_of_Set - just needed to select them to invoke them. There is or was an option on the server settings that allows you to choose the time limit of the gods, I just can't remember if the devs removed that option and set it automatically to be only 1 minute though.

After unlocking a religious altar, you'll need resources and to craft things from the altars recipes in order to be able to upgrade them, since you'll need a tier 3 altar to craft the item needed to summon the avatar, as well with an archpriest from that altar's religion, which you need to capture in some points of interest from the map. conanexilesmap.com can be useful to find priests (lvl 3 and above). Once you have crafted the item needed from the altar (ex. "True Name of Yog" medallion if you got a Yog's altar), put it in your hotbar and select it so it will be invoked.

1. Upgrade your owned religious altars up to tier 3, by gathering resources to craft random items from them (check the recipes inside the altar's interface) in order to obtain enough Manifestations of Zeal to craft the final item you'll need in order to summon the avatars; 2. The item I'm talking above should look like a medallion representing that specific religion the altar belongs to, and it's called "True name of Yog" if it's from Yog's religion, "True name of Mitra", etc) 3. Manifestations of Zeal (around 500 I think) and an archpriest inside of your altar are needed to be able to craft that "True name of..." item. I advice checking conanexilesmap.com just in case you are not finding any archpriests in the points of interest you visit to look for them. Archpriests are level 3 or 4/named priests. 4. Place the "True name of..." medallion in your hotbar and then select it in order to summon the avatar.

Yes. Actually you can summon them in any kind of server (PvP or PvE) with the avatars option enabled. If disabled, you cannot.

I don't remember if devs increased the resistance/hp of the tier 3 structures, though, I suppose they've nerfed the gods, that's why they aren't able to do as much destruction as before. I had the default rates on my single player game by the way, when I recorded this :). I've found that odd too though.
