Outdated Zero to Max Level in one Kill Conan Exiles

I do things a little different. Bring a bow and a few nox gas arrows (a bunch if you wanna cheese the boss). Same corner to jump over the first wall, but if you climb the rock platform running directly from the wall you don't get tied up in the corner where you had your WAK moment. Shoot the two archers and when the gas kills them, you're free to climb to the top right there. You can jump back into the bomb cart to drop agro. I go to the same place to break through, but I've found that using the battering ram first until it breaks (all heavy attacks) and two bombs takes me through smoother. After the kill I usually go straight out from the tower and jump onto the outer walls run through the little water source and only have to fight a couple that chase. I have been using this strategy and it's made staffing my purge building so much nicer. On a side note the modders have saved the game for me, I've been using two mods one that returns the old combat movement, the other fixes camels and demolishers. YEA modders!

Here's my take: This is a good idea for guaranteed thralls like Bersekers, but bad idea for rare thralls like Dalinsia Snowhunter or Thralls with very favorable level up bonuses. Why? Because they won't benefit from food. Example: I have a Dalinsia Snowhunter with 80% vitality level up and 85% strength level up. I leveled her up using nothing but savory steaks and exquisite stew, and the only time she missed a vitality level up, she leveled strength twice. Final result? She's got 46 strength and 57 vitality, 19 agility and 17 grit. Multiple duplicate level ups due to the insanely high chances. And then I used 126 rebirths on her so she's now got 15 + 15 + 10 vitality from her perks with no detrimental effects, putting her at 5400 base health. She's a monster. She can solo the Arena's Champion and Rotbranch even at base Authority. Strongest thrall I've ever made. It was worth the slow grind because you'll never get a thrall like this without using the right food. That said, if you're just looking for quick thralls such as for outside your base, this is an excellent method.

As people seem to be hemming and hawing over the loss of the "food buff" from leveling, I'd like to remind everyone that the food buff does nothing more than provide an increased CHANCE at gaining a stat point during the "dice roll" for that stat when gaining a level. so for example, if you feed your thrall gruel you get a bonus 14% to the CHANCE to get a strength point. You are not getting 14% more strength, you aren't getting 14% more points, or whatever other misconceptions you might have that I've heard over the years. can it make a difference? certainly. but remember to weigh that small tilt in the odds that you get against how much your time is worth. which... I'd admit might be a silly question since we are still playing Conan here.

I just want to add, if you're running a mod that raises the thralls level cap, I'm using one that allows thralls to level to 100, it still hits the cap even with that. I murdered him with 2 level 0 thralls 'following' me, and they hit level 100 in one fell swoop.

One thing that does happen is as you are leading the guys away from al-whatever it's called AFTER you kill the boss on an official server, the whole thing respawns and all those guys just drop dead.

Also FYI. two bombs and 1 ram is all you need for my agility build. Place bomb, during burn, use ram (10 hits seem to be what the burn last), place next bomb and repeat. 2 bombs and 19 hits from the ram is what the wall can take.

To all u peeps saying losing the food buffs makes it not worth it; that 14% only pushes 3 to 5 pts into a stat. That's hardly a game changer. They still get the same number of pts over all, they'll just not get those 3 to 5 targeted ones.

One of the buildings next to the cart with bombs. The one bit to the side, not the one right next to the rear of the cart, that building has a ram in it sometimes. It leans againt the barrels on the left when you enter.

I've been breaking the wall on the opposite side and just running in to collect the gold. But I like the side you are on. Much easier to kill the boss using gas arrows from a distance. Will definitely try this to level up my thralls. Thanks.

Same happened to me. Seen on another video turn the follow distance down to 5 meters and it will just keep teleporting to you.

Bring some explosives, magic staff, bandages and cleansing brews; summon demon; fly on top of the roof; drink ten cleasing brew; heal yourself. The rest is the same as you described and you need more stuff for it, but the entry is way more cool in my opinion! 😀

If you have a mod to increase the Thralls max level it appears they go to level 55, I'd say he gives a balanced amount of experience...

Fastest way to climb is the right tower near the castle gldoor. Just climb and destroy the wall in front of you. 5 min .

The food bonuses are not accounted for on multiple level gains. But the bonus from food is only to grow in that category. The more rolls of the dice the better the thrall you could get. This is like a 10 minute interaction versus the amount of time it takes to level a thrall properly. So there is a trade off but I think it's worth it.

Won't your thrall try and follow you? I remember trying a similar thing with an archer thrall. I built a tower for my guy and asked him to stay and then i went to agro a tough enermy but he jumped down as soon as i walked a short distance away.

it can happen... when you press E again and order your thrall to go "there" then he might spawn on you, but if you don't youll be for 10-15 min save.. more than enough to rush the lord :D

What am I doing wrong, my thralls are in the sate "Scouting" after I told them to stop, but they dont gain a Single EP. I´ve tried to kill some Random mobs and Rhinos etc nearby... no EP given to them?

You tell them to stop, like telling them to attack. Use the keybind associate to command them, Don't place them in the world, just make them wait for your return. I think the default setting for this is interact. one press is move or attack, 2 presses to stop and three presses to return.

This did not work for me on my first 2 try's. Then it did work after i saw the clip a 2nd time. You have to stop the followers by pressing the E button 2 times fast after echother. Then you order your followers to stop. What i did wrong was the 'stop following' option. If you use this option it does not work. But if you tell your followers to 'stop' by dubble pressing E this works. Make sure you get the message that your followers stop. First post: I managed to get to the boss and kill it but i never got the xp on the thralls and horse who i stop followed. The first time i 'stop follow' in the same spot as in the clip. The 2nd time i set the thralls closer. Both time no xp for the thralls. When i came back tot the thralls after i killed the boss they where still scouting on the spot i left them. My second try was really quick aswell. I killed the boss with with gas and explosive arrows. The 10k gold loot in the boss room is nice tho. I play on an official PvE server.

Sorry Wak . Yes the insta thrall leveling does work we figured out the problem . On ps5 it has to be solo for it to work . 1st time we did it as a clan two of us it spilt the leveling somehow between us and broke the thralls but when we tried it solo it worked flawless ! @@garbagemunki4365 The food percentage buff only applies until the level up, where it is reset, and the thrall must eat the same piece of food again to reapply the buff before the next level gain. If a follower gains so much XP that they level up more than once before they take another bite of food, then they do not get the buff for any level ups beyond the first one.

the npc's having perfect rotational target lock on the player is dumb, i've never had trouble as a new spawn taking down demon crocs with stone daggers. Completely different story now that they can't miss attacks.

The issue with this is that the thrall doesn't get the food bonus for Stat increases. So they can get max level quick, but their stats could suffer.

Yup no food bonuses so they level however the system want it to, but you can roll the dice a lot this way.

That's the tradeoff. If you are leveling something for purge defense that is likely to die it's definitely worth that. one thing I've been doing is killing a few patrolling troops to level 'properly' for the first couple of levels before I tell them to stop. Plus I have been stacking hardened steel because every single enemy here drops a hardened steel weapon.

You’re not losing any points. They get the same amount of attribute you’re only losing the ability to have a better chance at a certain stat when they level but the end result will be the same number of attribute points.

Instead of leaping across from the front, I just climbed on their exterior carts on the left side, killed the archers, then leaped across from the cart. After that, proceed to the same area where you got the battering ram/explosives.

i don't even bother with defenders, i just run thru. less engaging then , less chance to get surounded into death box by rest of defenders (when can't jump nor anywhere to dodge and get interupted on attacks)

You can dismantle the whole castle after you have killed the boss and get a stupid amount of hardened bricks, steel reinforcements and shaped wood. I don't know if it works like that on servers, but it works on single player game. Abuse it until they change it.

Scouting is the problem. Thrall needs to be following, but told to Wait where he is (don't select the thrall, just use the command to hold position). If you tell him to stop following then he will be Scouting and not gain levels.
