Hi Paul, we just got a 24’x18’ AIRSCREEN classic. The goal is to do our events at sites where we can just use the stakes to hold down the screen. However, anticipating maybe a parking-type space without an option for stakes, I was wondering if you have a recommendation on how much weight may be needed to hold it down. the manual does not come with a suggested weight, and I had seen or gotten different suggestions for it. any suggestion helps, and the type of weights you recommend as well (or do you do strictly stakes on the ground? Thanks!

Really depends on ground type etc. we use around 800 lbs per corner.

Love your informative posts. I do have a quick question. Do you have a recommendation on equipment? I don’t want to invest in cheap equipment.

For a startup drive-in theater, what equipment is recommended to start with?

A mobile setup and a fix screen showing new features have different equipment. If you are hoping to show new feature films you will need the ability to play a DCP. This will exponentially increase your start up costs.
