I like to use TTL outside at -2 stops. This gives in my opinion the best look.

nice video thank you!

Thanks a lot. But it might be even more helpful if you use the reflector to bounce the light from a strobe or flash. That will make the reflector Independent of the sunlight. Anyway, I always enjoy your vids. Very helpful indeed.

3:33 hang on is that a random advert embedded suddenly into the video as if it’s a KZbin one?

That was sooooo weird, I thought KZbin served my Premium an ad but you're right. I hope this doesn't continue

I almost never use a reflector outside, in the studio, yes, but not outside. You were lucky that it wasn't windy. The slightest breeze will move the reflector around and bounce light all over the place while you're trying to shoot.

personally, strobe will always be better and will give you better dynamic range when shooting HSS; like the model said, the reflector relies on having sun.

I did a shoot where ypu couldn't properly place a strobe and a softbox. So, I edded up using an on-camera flash with an aimable head and a reflector.

I would have liked to see for comparison also use of a 3 or 5 stop ND filter with the normal synch speed strobe for comparison
