What was the editing process like on these images? Was there skin softening, blemish removal, etc? I ask because I have to do my own editing as I cannot afford to outsource at the moment. Oh also...where can we see the fully edited images?

Your outdoor shoots are always interesting and instructional, Thanks for sharing this portrait outing. At 8:14 you said, I always tell students when I'm working with groups if you can touch your light it’s in the wrong place. Not sure what you mean by "working with groups" since this is a shoot for individual portraits. Maybe you simply mean "for an interesting and flattering light, if you can touch your light it’s in the wrong place. Is that it? Thanks.

I was referring to the group of students. And yes, if you put the light off to the side it is more interesting and flattering.

Great content! Your HSS video helped me to create a wonderful portrait of my grandsons and their friends in their backyard! Next week, I have a small company headshot session -- 3 people (individually and a group) and they want it outdoors. Again, you've given me the techniques to use to make this a successful session. Question: I was going to rent a 70-200mm lens. Will that work for me? I only own an 85mm and a 24-70mm presently. Again, thank you!

That is a good point. This one would be unless the company moves. A good thing to consider when doing company portraits.

Great video as always. I am wondering though, how many images do you take of each subject? Do you have a number in your mind you shoot to or does it depend on each individual as to how quickly you get "the one"?

I would say we shoot between 30-50 shots per person.
