OUTDOOR REC AREA, Part 5. SOURCING DIRT for the LOG WALL with MASSEY GC1725MB

Hey, we're back! In this video, we continue a project started last fall. I am using the Massey Ferguson GC1725MB backhoe to source dirt for building up the bulkhead on our rec area so more logs can be stacked on it. We probably could have used the John Deere 430s plow to shape as well, but I was working alone today. Thanks for watching, and remember to like share and subscribe!

I just bought a MF GC1725 and when they delivered it one of the nuts were off on that slow moving sign as well 😁 must be a common thing for MF

Seems like a harmless thing but what if a more important bolt isn't torqued enough? Just something for Massey/AGCO to prioritize. Thanks for watching!

Maybe use some forks and skin the sticks out of the dirt and forest and make a brush pile.

I thought about that OR maybe the landscape rake attachment.

@@tractorstrailsandlivingfree I had one of those and yes it was good to skin debris out of soil. I bought one when I had a lot of fencerows cleaned out and would run it over the ground frequently . they are inexpensive and handy.

Better lower bucket or you'll roll.

I do tend to leave it up sometimes. I was forced to on the log moving video because that's the only way the log wouldn't roll off. It would be MUCH easier and safer with a set of forks.
