Solid build, great job! Completes the set nicely and got Bob Barker’s stamp of a approval. 👍🏼

Very nice and solid, and you did alot of work drawing up those plans and especially building it for your Patio, which by the way looks great as well. Well done. Stay Safe, Barry (ENG)

Looks great! Is there a link for the seat/back cushions?

The shape of the legs is really nice and quite a unique design. Any tip on where to get cushions? I would like to build one, but the price of cushions are ridiculously expensive making building a bench more expensive than buying 😢

Gibt es die Pläne auch auf deutsch??

Love it. Definitely want to buy and make this entire set! Where did you get the cushions ? Looks and fits perfectly

The wife tells me she ordered them from Crate & Barrel (and that they're currently on clearance).

Awesome build and design. I'm building the sofa (modified for a chaise length on one end) and the chair now. Can I ask how the stain and finish are holding up to the elements? It looks like you used a standard interior stain (minwax golden pecan, right) and a spar urethene top coat. Any concerns after its been out in the elements?
@woodpackdiy Жыл бұрын
You are correct on the stain and finish. So far it is holding up perfectly. Although, my set is in a covered patio - so not full exposure to the elements.

@@woodpackdiy Awesome, thank you for the swift reply! I think your clarification that those pieces sit in a covered patio is important. And I'm guessing that's why you went a different route with the finish for the outdoor table that you just posted - which I'm assuming will not be in the covered patio? Thanks again.
@woodpackdiy Жыл бұрын
Yeah, that is also correct. The table will be directly exposed. Thats why I was more insistent on finding some cedar since it does better outdoors and went with the totalboat finish. Will have to see over time how that does as well.

Can you please tell me where I can get the plans. Thanks
Where do you get that wood? The Douglas Fir I am finding is full of knots
@woodpackdiy2 жыл бұрын
I got most of the lumber for these at ganahl lumber (one of my local lumber yards). Im in SoCal. The important part was kiln dried and c & better. The c & better lumber shouldnt have visible knots.
@b3arwithm3 Жыл бұрын
Not just knots, but most are not straight. At home Depot, we might find one good after checking 40 😂. How much did you pay for c & better?
