I had a blink and My biggest dislike was the lag time from when it notified you of movement to actually being able to view it on your phone. Do you know what the lag time is with this ?

MMHH this is weird I had no lag at all. I'm 110% sure it may be a connection issue. Do you know how strong the signal is where it's located? I don't see a lag issue honestly. Sorry!

@@Grumpyin sure thing, but the signal strength is not measured by the internet speed but with the distance from where the device is located. Is it far from the modem? Also, do you have too much traffic from other devices in the same band? So many factors can affect input lag. Wish I was able to help you more! but so far I didn't know of any lag issues with this device.

Does this record continuously or only when motion is activated? Like could I go back to footage from any time of the day even if there was no motion?

Hi! If I'm not mistaken the default is movement or action only (motion sensor, doorbell, etc.) but it comes with a 3 day free loop that records everything. Hi! yes works like any other camera the only thing you need is for the device to be connected and you can access from the app away from home. You also have the cloud too. Hope that helps!

Hi! Replying to both questions. It's an internal lithium battery. Great runtime. Usually it's like about 2 months without charging it. You don't replace it either. Hope that helps!

I cannot find anywhere with this product to ask a question .. so here goes .. all I want to do is view a pasture gate to make sure it is closed .. no movement required .. just a still view .. will this camera do that ???

Honestly, I don't remember charging the battery. No, I actually didn't and I've had it for almost 2 months. Manufacturer says 2 - 6 months but as many other cameras I bet that's tied to activity. If you have a lot of people ringing your doorbell, like deliveries, it may last less than what the manufacturer says. Bottom line, 2 months for sure. More possibly. Hope that helps!
