I admit, I haven't been staying up to date with Taku's channel, but I did just get back into fishing/cooking videos, and found Rokkit's channel again. I had no idea Taku was doing a trip with him, so seeing the notification and clicking on it, only to see Taku hanging out with Rokkit was a pleasant surprise. AWESOME VIDEO!! Living in Japan I once went to a restaurant that specialized in squid. They served us boards with two nails sticking up. On the nails was impaled a squid. The mantle was sliced and we ate the freshest sweetest Sashimi i ever tasted. When we finished the mantles the waiter took the remains (head and tentacles) away to be tempura or Yakitori as we chose. The squids were still alive and wriggling their tentacles around even though we had eaten their bodies.

Hey Taku, A little tip in order to save the ink for pasta etc. buy a cattle prod and instead of the net use a small bucket. Zap him in the bucket, this will dispatch the animal instantly and maintain the ink. no mess on the boat.... enjoy

You can make a salad and stuff it inside. Usually nice to grill them but a pan fried stuffed squid would work i suppose.
