Hello everyone, the snow that fell last time has already melted. Therefore, walking through the forest is not difficult. Today I returned to my underground home to make it even better and more practical. Last time I redid the chimney, but failed, today I want to redo the chimney again and get a positive result.
When I dismantled the chimney, I saw that everything was in order, I could not find the cause of the smoke. Since I've taken everything apart, I need to put the chimney in order.
After assembly, I fired up the stove to find out if I managed to make the right chimney or not. Hooray, as you can see, I succeeded. Smoke no longer seeps into the interior of the house underground.
Next, I want to put together a couple of doors. One will be very small, the second is much wider. I made two doors so that the passage to the street was narrow, and less heat escaped outside in those moments in which I open the doors.
Unfortunately, the door frame did not fit into the doorway, it turned out to be wider. I'm very tired, so I'll do it next time.

Too bad about the door frame not fitting. You usually get everything just right! I so much appreciate how well you care for Pyosel. First thing each time is he gets water. Just a suggestion if you are able to, look for a pipe from the top of the stove that has a damper piece in it so you can adjust the airflow up and out to slow down your burn rate

I want to take her with me but she has a habit of smelling around and getting away from me so if I had a tracking collar for her I could find her easier. It's always good to measure two times and cut once and it's also good to make a diagram what you are doing. Just trim the 🚪 doorway, were the frame 🪟 fits. You did a amazing job 💯👏 on the swing doors🚪👏

You need a double wall pipe going through the wall and it will stop wood from getting hot, if you can buy it there. Also a damper inside halfway up the chimney pipe to adjust the burn rate Love your dog you take care of him very well.

I have a wood burning 55 gallon barrel stove in my garage. I installed a triple wall chimney through the roof. The barrel was a dollar from surplus at my work 30 years ago. I got a stove kit for $50 that had the door and it's mating collar, four feet and the chimney flue adapter. The triple wall chimney was over $100 but has lasted these past 30 years without leaking or smoking.

If you screw dont screw in the same fibers of one board. Always screw lightly shifted or two screws in a 45-degree angle. Keeps the board from ripping and it prevents the workpiece from wobbling around. Its more sturdy.
