I have had that happen with fishermen too. Eeven though I was there first, They fish 75 yards from your decoys. I bet they would have give a dam if it was the other way around. And they showed up first and you started hunting next to them. Good job at handleing it the way you did! Kora is doing awesome, Loving the diver hunts by the way!

Great video. Them rocks are tough on a dogs paws, but Cora is turning out nicely. So much more rewarding knowing your the one who trained your dog. I trained my first lab myself and I couldn’t be happier. It was a huge learning experience for both of us. Now she’s 8 and has close to 2,000 retrieves and counting and every single one of them means a lot bcuz her and I did it together from start to finish. Keep up the good work Josh. 👍

Grew up hunting divers on lake Champlain, we call goldeneye, whistlers, those and bluegills (scaup) were our target birds! That's some nice weather for shooting divers......

Crazy how dry it is was out therr this year seems most of the locals have resulted to diver hunting this year where we go use to be only people hunting mallards and they didn't hunt if there wasn't mallards now it's a whole new thing

I understand cold temps in winter but I hunt lake eufaula in Alabama and we are further north than you guys. Gators are out unless temps below 40. I have seen 3 dogs taken and I don’t even take my dog when I hunt there anymore. I am interested in hunting the bays for redheads and was just wondering. I don’t see many people on videos using dogs there.

Crappie fishers can be so rude. Of all the brush piles they can fish over, they think they own the lake and fish where ever they want. That happens to me all the time trying to hunt from the shore for divers. I even had them drive right through a spread while I was in a layout blind 500 feet offshore.

Next time you have guys do that just say screw it and shoot at ducks. They'll move real quick. Had a fisherman pull up within a 100 yards of our river blind on opening early goose he wouldn't move but did after a goose fell dead about 20 yards from his boat
