Non Venomous Snakes identification in Oklahoma

I like the video, but it would be nice if the editor didn't put the info boxes directly over the animal so we can't see it. There's more unused screen space it could've opened on.

Found what looked like a bunch of large worms under a bunch of rotted leaves that were about 7to8in long. And some were also working their way out from between the house foundation. I have seen large earth worms, but can a regular worm get that big???

Worm snakes were common enough in central Texas where I was before moving here to Lawton area, and the climate is pretty similar. We found a few in the planters around our house. We just left them alone, they are harmless.

I agree you shouldn't keep a wild animal in captivity. Pet snakes should come from reputable breeders. I appreciate that you mentioned that.

Unless you're breeding them for release, but don't get carried away or you can upset the local ecological balance.
