I know this is a couple years old, but many of the ORVs have puck lights instead of the fixture. In the 25RDS the slideout has the recliners and pantry with multiple puck lights overhead. I pulled the switch and there is no ground wire available, which makes it challenging to use a dimmer. I know your bedroom install covered that issue. With the dinette in the rear and the light switch in the panel with the awning/slideout switches, there is a ground that supports a dimmer switch. I wired to the output of the switch allowing the o/h lights to still be controlled by the switch, but with the dimmer on the output to adjust the brightness. A new hole was drilled in the panel to mount the dimmer switch and cover. Mike Layman

@@litzdog911 I appreciate the video on the bedroom lights. On our previous Lance, you removed the puck lights by rotating the lens counter clockwise to remove then unscrewing the screws holding the fixture. My attempts failed with the ORV. After watching your video I now see that they just pop out. I assume you just grab the fixture and pull down?

SO I tried the installation and did not succeed. Tried every combo and either the light would stay on and not turn off or dim, or I would blow the breaker. I decided to put the original switch back in and now the breaker is blowing on that, even when i try both combinations of wires from the original switch..I'm totally befuddled

Bummer. Do you have the exact same fixture that I have? Did you verify that the +12V and ground wires were not reversed? That could blow the fuse.

@@litzdog911 Finally got it...we were trying to wire everything into the ceiling wires...I finally realized I just had to wire those 2 remaining wires(INPUT) to the wires coming out of the ceiling...SO all good and it dims! Thanks!
