I would generally love to see the beginning of Kiara and JJ's relationship. we waited so long for it and then we either get a relationship that developed without us being able to see it or they broke up and we get almost nothing from that relationship at all

the creators did a time jump because they want them to be out of highschool and be legal adults. apparently they will do some flashbacks to those 18 months which is absolutely needed because there were some plot points left unfinished like the whole situation with kie's parents, both cleope and jiara's beginning of their relationship etc... i'm excited for s4 especially because now that they're all legal adults and rich there's a lot of new things they can explore, i feel like the show can benefit from a change if done right. i just hope next season they balance out the treasure hunting aspect with the pogues hanging out, i feel like the friendship aspect was missing a bit this season. i also need more jiara scenes, i want to see their relationship dynamic.

I know i need more jiara too. I remember watching the finale and screaming at the tv cause the finale had absolutely no confirmation that they were still together after a year and a half. I can't believe that we've missed the cute start of relationships of cleope and jiara istg we better have heaps of flashbacks

@@caramelpopcorn4524 yeah and they were the only couple that wasn’t holding hands or being coupley. apparently extras on set said they filmed them holding hands but then cut it out. i’m sure it’s either related to the storyline or just to keep viewers guessing but i hope they show us at least some flashbacks of jiara and cleope, they can’t just skip over their relationships like that :(

yes, at some point a time jump was necessary, as with all series with teenagers. But not now. I want to see how Jiara develops. And I think when they grow up, some of what we love about OBX will be lost. already in Season 3 everything was more serious and the Pogues were less together. and my fear when they grow up it will be similar.

I honestly feel for Sarah in this. She saw him "die" when he blew up his boat and saw him die again. This time we know it's for sure. I mean he got shot at 3 times before falling off a cliff. If he somehow survived I'd be shocked.

It has been confirmed that season 4 is happening and they will be doing flashbacks to the 18 months we missed. They wanted the characters to be legal adults and the actors are aging so the time jump was necessary. The writers said that they view the first 3 seasons as their own "trilogy" and that the next 3 seasons (ahhh) as their own little "trilogy". The next 3 seasons have not all been confirmed by Netflix though, just the 4th. The writers do have a plan for the next 3 though.

I feel like this doesn’t get talked about enough but I loved the part of this finale where Sarah asks John B “Are you going to catch me?” And he looks at her and says “Yes ma’am” I loved that. Also, I do like how it ended but I agree I feel like the time jump threw everyone off a little bit because it just leaves so many questions. I’m curious how did Rafe react to his dad dying? Is Rafe still going to retaliate against Kiara for pushing him off the boat? Are JJ and Kie still together? How is the relationship with Kie and her parents? So many questions but yes this season was awesome ❤

That means Kie and JJ have been together for a 1.5 years now! It’s a shame because one of the main points of the show is that you’re waiting to see the look on everyone’s faces when they realize the kids were right the whole time and they were wrong. The flash forward took that away :/ I know we’ll be getting flashbacks but still.

I have to say that looking back I think I liked that it was just John B and Sarah! This whole thing started with the Cameron and Rutledge families, and it ended with them. The kids finished what their dads were too selfish and greedy to properly do. Feels very satisfying.

i appreciate the finale bc it felt like they wrapped things up enough so that if it hadn't gotten renewed for another season, it would feel final and complete in a lot of aspects but that final scene leaves it open enough to introduce a story smoothly now that we know we'll be getting s4. i'm excited to see that, based on the comments, we'll be seeing some of the things that happened during the 18 months bc i feel like it'll provide important context for how things start off in the new season. i'm also curious to see how they'll introduce a completely new treasure and hunt since everything in the first 3 seasons was interconnected through denmark tanny

Great review if we get a season 4 which I really hope we do I wouldn't mind them coming back as treasure hunters and I would love if sarah got some shooting lessons and some fighting skills considering everything she's been through I loved this season I would love to more of rafe in season 4 as well.

yes, the time jump bothers me too. I also know that they have to bring something like this at some point, but not when Jiara just got together and I want to see their relationship develop. I found Big John and Ward super annoying, but when they ended up dying, that made me sad. And for me it was way too little Kiara, JJ, Pope and Cleo in the last episode. And yes, I would have preferred to have all the Pogues together and less Big John and Ward.

Ive been waiting for this reaction!!!!! also, I'm surprised you never reacted to On My Block. It is another netflix show, it is 4 seasons and it ended in late 2021. OBX has a similar concept to OMB (four friends, 1 girl and 3 boys, looking for treasure), but it is a little bit more urban and the treasure isn't the only plot line, it actually plays as a part in the MAIN storyline, it is REALLY funny and heartwrenching at times, you should still react to it, trust me. Also, please react to Ginny and Georgia cuz i feel like, no, i KNOW that you would fall in love with Georgia, Joe, Marcus, Zion and Paul. PLEASE. Luv u Adam🤭

This last episode of season three of obx had me stressed so much, big John dying it was so sad 😭 but I never liked him in season because he cared more about el Dorado then his son. I loved this finale and I would have been satisfied if the show had gotten cancelled and that’s the note they ended on. It was nice for the pogues to finally have a win. I agree the time jump has to happen to due the actors aging but do hope we get some flashbacks in season 4. I also completely agree there should have been more jiara in the finally.. but we can’t be too greedy I guess 😂
