Outer Banks Kahuna -350lb Marlin

Great day out of OBX on board the Kahuna! Capt Flavor and the crew traveled to waters at 400 fathoms and entered into shark infested waters. A good amount of large tunas were lost by being gulped by giant bull sharks! On this trip we landed a 350lb Marlin that put up a fight of a lifetime! Gear used were Penn and Shimano reels with 100lb test line.

We sail out of Oregon Inlet NC, the east coasts fishing capital. KAHUNA is a 54′ custom sportfishing boat that provides outstanding sea keeping ability plus all the comforts of home. Such items like AC and Heat, galley with microwave, refrigeration, large clean head, ample seating, fighting chair, latest in navigation to include SAT TV and SAT phone are all found aboard. We are safety conscious with life raft, EPRIB and plenty of PFDS to go around to include children’s jackets.
KAHUNA features the finest in custom tackle from 20lbs to 130lbs. All Shimano and Penn reels are provided with your charter. All bait, ice, and fishing licenses are provided for you.
