I wish there were more scenes in season 3 were all pogues were together. Like in season 1 they were making jokes, partying, just hanging out together and their friendship felt so realistic. Now they were split into the three couples: Cleo and Pope, JJ and Kie, and Sarah and John B. I wish we saw them as a team more often and I wish they were in Kildare and we would see some more drama between the kooks and pogues. The whole thing with South America and the gang and so on was also exciting but kind of far fetched tbh

I also thought it was sad that the pogues weren't as much together as the last 2 season. And the jokes and friendship dynamic was often missing. And we've had too much Big John. I hope it wasn't because the kids are now "growing up" and we're getting less and less of those fun and beautiful moments.

Yes agreed, I hated the separation! Just because they had to make every “fall in love” doesn’t mean the friend group couldn’t have been closer!

“So wrong it must be right” I think that is what makes Rafe and Kiara so interesting. I was glued to the screen when they shared scenes. Madison and Drew understand their characters and play very well.

this is my fave type of plotline. the characters that are so different, hate each other, but forced together in a situation filled with tension? you kidding me Ill eat that shit up. esp cause imo, theyre my fave of this ive seen on tv. its not done much, the writers are SO lucky to have Drew and madison. golden fs

For Season 4, I hope the writers take notes for what we didn't like as much. I know I am not a writer but from what I notice, so many stray away from the "core" of what makes the show loved- and I know it was a serious season it had to be, but I wish the ensemble stayed together, I wish they were in OBX more, wish there was more hs drama- and I wish they did not change the villian. I was genuinely expecting the villians to be Ward and Rafe still- and they keep going, making the story even bigger and crazier. But it is what it is- I just hope the writers go back to the vibe that the previous seasons had, uk? Even the actors felt off this season- idk if it was just them personally or maybe the stress of the intense shoot, but yeah idk

I didn't like that the pogues were separated so often. And Big John was too much in the focus. I also missed a bit of the jokes that was always there.

@@mona-px9oy tbh, I skipped all of big john's scenes. yeah they need to go back to the fun jokey hs drama too, not just the plotline although its over now so well see what they do from here

Yeah I feel like the common opinion is that s1 was the best with the nostalgic summer teen friendship vibes and the more realistic, grounded adventure. The focus was really on the pogues and since then they’ve been more split up. At least season 2 has a lot of scenes where they’re reuniting or partying or working together, but season 3 strayed even further from this. I just hope season 4 returns to the season 1 vibes and spends more time in obx.

I feel like filming outer banks must be one of the most interesting and thrilling things. they really get to do so many stunts and are put in many crazy situations and they can actually experience all their adventures.

haha I got a little sad when the creators are like "Yeah, we realized that rafe and kiara should've gone for even longer." They hit the jackpot with this storyline. NOTHING can be more interesting to me than making these two characters, stuck in a situation having to work together, and maybe if they didn't go through all they did, they honestly would get along quite well. I really hope this means the writers will push further with these two, I know forsure everyone will lose it. I mean people already are over them after the 2 eps that came out

Agreed!!! I loved watching Rafe and Kiara together, it was so cool to see their dynamic, you never get to really see them interact one-on-one. Wish they kept them together longer and I really hope they have more scenes together in Season 4!

They left the story open. I don’t think Rafe and Kie are done with each other just yet. No one knows they were stuck together.

Then kie gives this look of "don't you dare speak of it we promised we never would." kinda storyline. then BAM flashback episode!!! Ugh I wish this season was super different in many ways but oh well at least we got kiara and rafe

I will not get bored of saying that we need more scenes of Rafe and Kiara together I mean it’s undeniable the chemistry between these two and it feels new, refreshing and kinda dangerous and we love that, the complexity of the relationship that they could had in season 4. Like I could never get bored of them and if you take a look on tiktok you know that these two are SERVING.

To be honest….I feel like Rafe and Kiara would make a better couple than Kiara and JJ….hell even Sarah and Kiara would make a better couple. Madelyn did an interview a few days ago where she was asked if Sarah would date anyone else other than John B and she said “Kiara”, and I remember Season 1: when the boys left Sarah and Kie on the boat to solve their issue, Sarah told Kie that she stopped being friends with her because Kie liked her. When she said that, I automatically assumed that Kie was LGBTQ+ but of course, we don’t know…she could be bisexual, queer, pansexual, questioning…..So I would actually like to see Sarah and Kie together.

OMG when Sarah said that "you liked me" I thought she was talking about Kie being bi lol Madison Bailey said she would love to represent lgbt on tv since she is in fact bi. However, I think kie and Sarah together would be too far fetched, and ruin Jiara and John b+Sarah both of whom are really good couples. I think it would shake the group a little too much and make it super unrealistic, there is no way that if Sarah and Kie were to be a couple the group would stay together. And I also think its important to represent friendships on tv. Kie and Sarah are examples of best friends who drifted apart and after a year they became friends again and those type of things happen a lot in real life and its awesome to have that representation and not turn every friendship love to sth romantic. Unless they become those friends who have a thing for each other but prefer choose friendship over that, I think that would be interesting, but no being together and breaking up their current couples.

Just because there was chemistry between them I don’t think they would make a good couple. It would be a toxic relationship. Kiara is scared of rafe so it doesn’t make sense having them as a couple, he can be violent sometimes and I feel like Kiara isn’t the violent type. Their personalities doesn’t match at all, kiara wants to save the turtles, go see the world, go on adventures and all that. While rafe is the exact opposite of Kiara in many ways. I feel like if he was dating someone he kind of need attention, the attention his father didn’t give him until recently. He would need someone who is more like him. And I think he would want to stay and help his family and their business while Kiara want to travel - it wouldn’t work out. Obviously he has a lot of issues and has to work on them before he start dating. I think you see my point, rafe and Kiara doesn’t match. And I don’t think that rafe is ready for a relationship just yet. And when he is it’s with someone else.
