This episode we launch the world's first probe to Jupiter.
For All Kerbalkind is a competitive career mode series with N9 Gaming and Carnasa, set in realism overhaul with RP-1 realistic progression. In my videos I lead the Kaputnik design bureau as it races to raise the red flag across the solar system. The game is in version 1.12.3 and uses the Making History and Breaking Ground expansions.

This is a blast to watch with 3 players, trying to imagine how chaotic it would be if you had another one or two (playing something like Japan or the PRC), guessing the game save would start to get too unstable with that many folks stuff in orbit.

Tsiolkovsky's margins are naturally extremely tight, but I wonder: is 300 m/s enough to do a (truncated) Galileo style tour of the main moons? Cassini's Delta-v budget in IRL was just 742 m/s, and that lasted for 13 years of orbiting Saturn and doing literally hundreds of flybys. It would certainly net a lot more science then just simply orbiting Jupiter...

They've already sent crew interplanetary, so no, not quite the real space race. They are basing the series on that, though. Early NTRs are just bad though, so probably no tugs for a while.
