I hadn't even connected the idea of Dark Bramble just being the ocean until now. Geeze...

The *deep* ocean no less. Which is funny as the game has a literal ocean planet, yet Dark Bramble is the ocean abyss.

I'm really scared of the ocean and such and the first time I tried playing I actually stopped because I was too scared of Giant's Deep. The way entering the atmosphere felt like going underwater and then after that I actually saw that the planet was basically one big ocean and it made me go "NOPE. I'M OUT. I DON'T KNOW WHAT'S IN THAT WATER." Eventually I came back to it, and while the scary fish were definitely scary, the will never be as scary as going into Giant's Deep for the first time for me.

I'm here because I'm new to the game and I chose Giant's Deep as my first planet to land on. Needless to say I quickly closed the game the moment I realized I was in a giant mass of water

I never connected the dots to find the Vessel when I first played the game. I didn't even realise it was possible to go to. So after deactivating the ash twin project I just sat there and watched the sun explode, thinking that I'd finished the game because I'd escaped the time loop. I only found out months later that the Vessel existed. Despite not seeing the proper ending I was still content after "beating" the game, and I think that's a testament as to just how beautiful and well put together Outer Wilds is.

I enjoy horror as an observer, not as a participant. I started Echoes of the Eye a few days ago and it's scaring the hell out of me, but I'm in too deep now. I have to keep going and solve the mystery

Did you manage to get past the "scary" parts and complete the dlc?

I love games that are not one dimensional in a sense that they are not just strictly one genre, and they skillfully play with your emotions :D

Adam Millard recommended you and your videos are great! Wish I could play this game again without knowing anything :’)

I was so mad at this game because it's so beautiful and interesting and I wanted to explore it all, but you CANNOT IMAGINE how much I SUCK at the movement. I kept dying in the sand caves over and over again (even when I knew exactly where to go) which completely threw my immersion out the window. Anyway, good video.

Great work! Is Outer Wilds, perhaps good, and therefore not a video game?

8 pounds well spent. Great video! Though I admit I put the game down for a bit more than once after being eaten by those fish.

The scariest parts of Outer Wilds for me were the silence, and the statues.. F'n goat people always staring at me

This game very deep, and very unique, only one of its kind (planet crafter made me feel that emptiness again)

For me this game is scary because I’m small, we humans are small, and everything around me is gigantic, but I HAVE TO, I have to enter the black hole, I need to head in a gigantic tornado, I need to get of the ship in giant’s deep ocean, I have to if I want to go forward, if I want to solve the mystery behind this game, this universe that is so similar to ours. As you said it, it’s too late to not take the plunge and just do it. Other than that, I completely adore this game for how SCIENTIFIC it is in its own way. The researches are fictional yet so realistic, the phenomenons seem so real because in part they are: black holes being connected to white holes is a real theory, quantum characteristics do exist, objects being in two locations at the same time. This is taken further by the “the thing comes out from the white hole before it enters the corresponding black hole” that is something that is not realistic as it breaks causality, but the game already hooked you, it becomes so plausible. There is also the eye of the universe that is, from what I know, completely invented, but I thought it was basically what we worship as God (I haven’t started the dlc yet, maybe that answers it better)
