In Outer Wilds the training wheels are off, no trajectory lines, wildly amplified gravitational scales, and limited thrust capabilities make this game much harder than KSP IMO.

Heh, it's definitely closer to the latter than the former. There aren't that many viable launch windows to the near orbit of the Sun (unless you go for something fancy involving the other planets), basically you have a single launch window per rotation of the Ember Twin, so it was just a matter of seeing which one of those made the most sense :) Glad you liked the flight! Outer Wilds is an amazing game.
