DUDE! BRO! THE OWLS HOOTING AT THE BEGINNING! Is that a depiction of them discovering the Eye signal for the very first time?! If so, holy wow what a perfect way to start a beautiful, grand and emotionally moving medley like this. Thank you so, so much for making this for all of us to enjoy. So many memories of this game from all the different tracks you've put in. My personal favourite being your version of Nomai Ruins. Hearing that music for the first time on the Attlerock signal locator was what hinted to me that there is something big going on in this game, and I had a feeling that I was going to experience something special. It may not be the most famous track, but hearing it's inclusion in this felt absolutely moving and magical all over again. You bless us all with this gorgeous piece of work, and I wish you nothing but the very best in whatever works of art you make in the future!

Hum... This appears in my ears from random playing, I'm at work and damn I am on the verge of crying damn these songs are insane
@maddieLund11 ай бұрын
I cannot even start to describe how good this was. Whether it was starting out with an amazing adaptation of Into Shadow, or your adaptation of Elegy for the Rings spread out over 6 freaking minutes of beautiful music, that just kept on getting better, or any of the other adaptations... this was insane. You had such a diverse ranging of style of music and instruments throughout the whole piece, which was just great. And I also really appreciated that, while this was very obviously Outer Wilds music, you didn't stay *exactly* to the very notes and rhythm and intonation of the original music. You took some liberties and changed up some melodies and beats just a little bit, which made it sound so much more original and unique, and made the experience so much better. I have listened to so many Outer Wilds remixes over the years since I've finished, but I must say, this is by far the best (and longest haha). I will certainly be checking out some of your other content and recommending this to everyone else I know that has played Outer Wilds! Amazing job.
@NoToneTyrone11 ай бұрын
Wow thank you so much, I am really you like it! When I was composing it I had such a great time and didn't even notice that elegy was 6 minutes long for instance, it just felt natural to compose on! This game really has a special place in my heart and I really wanted to capture it all in a 22 minute (of course) medley and I am really glad it received so much recognition and love from Outer Wilds players. I don't even let my friends listen to it until they have played the game :D. Thanks again for the kind words, I will be making much more interesting unique covers of games in the future, so feel free to check them out when they are made! Cheers!

What do you use for your compositions, and where do you get your sounds? Am an aspiring composer and I’ve been wanting to move on from MuseScore for my compositions, but finding a good sound library is hard tbh, especially for vocals

I mostly use stuff from performance samples, and I think i used a lot of metropolis ark 1 here. All the other sounds are a mixture of a lot of libraries I have gotten in the past year. I remember using Massive X quite a lot for the synthy stuff. I also really like Contemporary Drama Toolkit from Spitfire Audio. What vocals are you looking for (solo, choir, male, female?)
