Thank you for the fresh ideas. I adore pink and wear it year round. I have a grey coat, grey jeans, pink sweater, silver heels, silver sneakers, belt, and purse. I never thought of pairing the pink sweater with the grey jeans or adding one or two of my silver accessories to a pink outfit. Why didn't I think of that?? LOL Merry Christmas Gemma!

I love pale pink, I’m excited about this color trend. So long as it’s not that orangey, peach pink, which doesn’t suit my cool-toned coloring. It can be difficult to tell the undertone of colors on online images with their lighting filters, etc., but I’ll try. I think everyone looks good in either a cool or warm-toned light pink, depending on their coloring. It’s a lot easier color to wear than those awful Barbie and Hot Pinks that have been trending in recent years, it’s far more elegant. It’s interesting that the two trending colors, burgundy and pale pink, were worn together by the Princess of Wales on her last New York visit, she has a lot more influence on fashion than she’s given credit for. I hadn’t really seen this beautiful combo since probably the 80s. She’s the most consistently well-dressed public figure, ever, in my opinion and I think she should be given a lot of credit for the return or more elegant styles of dressing that we now favor. We had hit the scruffy bottom of the barrel during the pandemic.

I just got the most perfect light pink winter dress from Slip Into Soft, a brand new to me (US-based? That’s where I am). It’s a cashmere ribbed knit, fit and slightly-flared midi with a flattering V-neck. I love the V-neck; all my other winter dresses are high-neckline, (high-crew, mock-turtleneck or turtleneck), dresses, which have been so annoying lately. They pull up and choke me when I sit and the wool or cashmere itches my sensitive neck skin The V-neck of this dress is a modest one, neither revealing cleavage nor so exposed that I get cold. This great dress will replace the awful one I got from Sezane last year, which has unbearably itchy fabric - I’m not sure if it’s the alpaca or the nylon content. I’m going to buy this perfect Slip Into Soft dress in another color, too. It took a long time to arrive, though, nearly three weeks. (No brand affiliations, I’m just a regular consumer who likes to share good brands that use natural-fiber fabrics. That’s all I can wear; I recently discovered the discomfort and rashes I was having was from allergies to plastics, which rules out about 90% of brands, including all fast-fashion ones. I’m gradually purging all the synthetic-blend fabrics from my wardrobe, at least if they touch my skin directly, I’ll keep some outerwear made with nylon - not as irritating as polyester).
