There are two main companies that make windshields for the CTX700, Cee Bailey and Madstad. The rev limiter kicks in at those speeds but on mine would just maintain the speed, for example 60 km hits the rev limiter and if I kept on the throttle would maintain roughly that same speed but it doesn't feel like braking. It's a low reving engine and you'll get used to changing gear just before it hits the limiter if you're accelerating quickly in the first three gears. How long you had it?
