Thanks for your excellent review. Jerry Goldsmith provided Hyams with the two best soundtracks, for his two best films. Goldsmith is obviously a genius, I have always felt Hyams and underrated director, his films are always well shot, edited, and underscored. I love this movie, the pairing of Connery and Goldsmith is a win, win, outcome for me.

Funny review! A solid underrated rated movie, I remember sneaking into the cinema back in 81, wasn't old enough but didnt care, was blown away. lol

Outland finally got a well-deserved Blu-ray release about a decade ago. It's definitely worth a purchase if you're a sci-fi fan or a Sean Connery fan.

have this on dvd, complete flop at the box office but i really like this film.
