It’s actually both parents the ones in the 18th century that’s Brian and Ellen the frasers Jamie’s parents Henry and Julia are claires and you can see Henry is in ww1 we know that they die in a car crash in 1923 when Claire is five leading her to be adopted by her granduncle lambert beauchamp

Hi! Should I watch "Outlander" before the prequel, or is it better to watch the prequel first? I haven't had the chance to watch "Outlander" yet because I find it long and don't have the patience for it. I'm also not prepared for the graphic content, haha!I know there are Easter eggs and references in the prequel if I watch "Outlander" first, but I'm really intrigued by the chemistry between the main characters of the prequel. Am I the only one more excited for Claire parents' storyline rather than Jamie's? I mean, I realize that Brian and Ellen are gonna be the main characters, but their story has pretty much been told throughout Outlander. With Claire's folkes we know nothing about. We only know they died in a car accident when Claire was only 5.
