This scene reminds me of the very first episode where Claire and Jamie first met after he fell off his horse. (I also remember Jamie later admitting it was at that moment he knew Claire was the one for him).

Yes! When he almost dies, I think it’s the snake bite? And she’s looking at him with worry, he mentions something about how he knows it’s serious when she’s not yelling at him and is being nice instead.

I adore this scene! When you're afraid it's often expressed in anger. This was so real. She'd been looking and fearing what she'd find all night! But when she saw that contrite look on his face - like will you not show me just a little love and tenderness/I'm sorry - her anger dissipated. They are sooo good in their roles! NO ONE does it like Sam & Caitriona!

Esta pareja junta es pura magia ,lo tienen todo si están juntos conseguirán lo que se propongan son dos signos muy luchadores y inteligentes uno tiene más serenidad y el otro es más iperactivo ,es una unión explosiva por separado trabajan bien pero no es lo mismo falta esa química astral que tienen Outlander es el papel que todos recordaremos nacieron para ello ,brillan con luz propia pura fantasía y realidad de un amor puro que todos queríamos vivir

Episode 8 was by far, the best of the season so far. It was balanced, featured character development and really enhanced the storyline without being rushed as most of the other episodes were this year. That said, Jamie was not wounded at Saratoga in the books.....

I mean, in all honesty, I think it's pretty obvious he wasn't gonna die. They got another half of this season, then next season. Though, the acting is so good in these moments, you do fear for their lives forgetting that they literally can't in order for the show to continue.
