Hi Steve, looks like you're winning mate! If I'm not mistaken, I think all of these paints require a clear top coat of gloss, satin or matt, which is great for sealing in the transfers anyway.

The Outlaw paint is a satin matt finish .The sms paint says jet black, they all make a matt I think jet black is actually satin , the finish is absolutely fabulous and Steve Proof lol. I really think a .3 needle is better than a .5.

Yes of course I need to s3al the transfers after regardless of the finish The SMS jet black however would require a clear coat if there no transfers fo put on.

good to see you went well the lacquers. I'd be interested to see how well the outlaw range matches up with the precision colours: certainly they seem to have ( probably sensibly) streamlined the range a little

Stan I think the accylic lacquer is brilliant, very easy to airbrush.

@@Steven_Rowe ya - I think being premixed takes a lot of the guess work out of it. Like I've said before, the only issue I have had is that later coats tend to blend in with the prior, making touch ups difficult.

I used to know the Paasche needle size conversion off by heart, but iirc, if I remember; a Paasche H #3 nozzle/needle is something like a 0.7 to the rest of the world (a fire hose)😮😅 I wouldn't worry too much, use low air pressure, anything above a 0.3 should be okay, you may even get away with a 0.2🤞👍✌️💜

The needle size with Paasche doesn't seem to mean anything, just a number.
