Thanks Jonathan! Nice video! This product looks very similar to Openrun Pro, but Openrun Pro cannot be used for swimming. I used to have an Openrun Pro, but later for swimming and boating, I switched to the Wissonly Hi Runner. Its waterproof level reached IPX8, and in addition to Bluetooth mode, it also has MP3 mode. These two features make it work well when swimming.

hi I just bought one of those and without going to the swimming pool I am pretty sure that plug for the mic will come off, it looks very clumsy. generally rely on a plug and claim IPX8 looks pretty strange to me. if the plug comes off the risk is to compromise the mic or the whole system? thanks in advance for your reply

@@giuseppecarluccisforza7227 been using them in the pool regularly since this review was posted and the plug never has come out for me.

final outcome... returned to the shop in the end... - running ok, the best overall experience, but then I tried my son's basic in-ear and were better as to quality sound even in noisy condition (traffic) - swimming pool ok, but I had to figure out a way to keep that plug in place. didn't want to risk any water leak through the mic... - cycling NOK... in any condition... at high speed with no traffic I couldn't hear much, even audiobooks Basically no sense to buy other than for swimming

my biggest issue with bone conduction is that volume can be either too low or sound leakage is too loud if you turn it up. I don't want my surrounding to get disturbed by my blasting hiphop. So how's the sound leakage in Outlier Free Pro?

Was hoping for sound quality vs Aftershokz and more info about the 8GB storage on the Pro model.
@JonathanJScottFilms Жыл бұрын
I don't have a pair of the aftershokz so I can't do a direct comparison. What other info do you want about the storage other than the fact it is 8GB in size?
@jansolo69 Жыл бұрын
The big question is how they compare to the Shokz line of bone conduction headphones.
@JonathanJScottFilms Жыл бұрын
Yeah for sure, I've never tired a pair of shokz in the pool before though.

@@JonathanJScottFilms what about the non waterproof shockz model, how does the sound compare
@JonathanJScottFilms Жыл бұрын
@@shenjiejason8350 I don't have a pair to try side by side but for bone conduction headphones they produce decent sound.

It will be great if you can do a riview of the regular outlier Free, not the pro, not everyone has the money for the Pro.

how do you load mp3s on the headphones?

You have to connect it to a pc or Mac with the supplied cable and transfer them across.
