Trae Young is a Misunderstood Superstar.
Ever since being drafted by the Dallas Mavericks in 2018 and then being traded to his current team, the Atlanta Hawks, in exchange for Luka Doncic, Trae Young has been misunderstood, labelled as an undersized, scrawny point guard, who is a capable NBA player, but not a superstar.
But Trae's performance ever since leaving Oklahoma in 2017 has been nothing short of incredible. Leading the Hawks to the Conference Finals in 2021, and carrying teams to the playoffs year after year, Young has proved himself to be a legit, superstar.
Yet, many believe he isnt, why?

As a Mavs and Luka fan. The media is the real problem. They are the ones who discredit TY. Luka and Trae trade was what both teams needed. I like TY. I believe he is also a superstar. Worst thing to ever happen to the Hawks was that run in 2021. Trae Young is not a superstar. The Hawks will be no more than a play-in team (maybe) as long as Trae is the point guard. IN MY OPINION!!! We should have kept Murray but no one wanted Trae. Basketball is a TEAM game and Trae does not incorporate the others with his ball dominant play. Yes he has a lot of assists but most are pick and rolls. His game is pick and rolls, 30 ft 3's and no defense.
