This figure is growing on me... I wasn't blown away at first, but the more we see him in the show, the more I like it. Nice to hear your take on this one! I did find out that RIT synthetic dye works well if you want to dye the robe black. The regular RIT dye doesn't work; you have to go with the synthetic dye. Great video, Nate!

@Out of the Basement Yeah, in fact Walmart sells it. I was going to grab some - but in typical Walmart fashion, they were out of black. I do believe you could get it at Hobby Lobby, Michael's, etc... Make sure it's the synthetic dye from RIT.

I loved the back story to how Boba got these robes and Gaffi stick, it was so cool seeing Boba build his very own Gaffi. Superb figure Nate, i just received the Hot Toys Deluxe two figure set version that also comes with the pre painted armour look which is truly epic but this BS version looks fantastic although i do agree the head sculpt could of looked more aged and scarred but apart from that i think the figure is great with plenty of accessories and sculpt detail.Awesome review Nate

Damn I just picked up the Throne Room Boba and now this..looks..soo.. stunning! I just love figures which come with fabric + loads of weapons. The details on the rifle and waist ammo belt just look sweet! Will be picking this up for sure! Thanks for the in-depth review.

Sir you just saved my Bacon!!! THANK YOU for pointing out the Blaster is hidden by the Cardboard, i managed to unbox this guy yesterday (1 YEAR pre-order finally arrived!) and i put the plastic prison back in the cardboard without noticing the Blaster in there, this one almost disappeared forever in the attic. I got no clue how i missed that...

Top review again Natey. Look at that hood!!! I reckon that would fit me! Who at hasbroke saw the finished item and went: "yeah, we've nailed boba's hood there. I'm happy with that".....?????? I bet it was Patrick!!! He thought we needed soft goods for the Rancor when that got funded due to his brilliant marketing plan! Hope the new job in board games is going well....Will pick this up for sure when it hits English stores in 2030!

Like you, I actually like the outfit under the robe and think I’m gonna display mine without the robe on. Or maybe I’ll pick up two of them and display him with both looks. That seems to be a trend I’m on, especially with figures with removable helmets (the entire Bad Batch team, Bo Katan, Koska, Rex - I display one figure helmet on, one figure helmet off - dang Hasbro dupes me into buying multiples). Great review!

Ohhhh that’s a slippery slope. I haven’t been hit that hard yet, I’m the kinda person who leaves helmets on unless there’s some comparison I need to do. God I can’t say how P.O.ED I am about the vintage collection version of this figure! I have been waiting for him to finally come out. Now they release him but only with a new vintage collection slave1 that is the 3rd release of a vintage collection slave 1 in 2 years! I don’t know a 3.75 collector who doesn’t have slave 1 already! And they put a figure we all want with a vehicle we all have???
