The fact that jango never appeared in person in the book of boba fett in my opinion was the most disappointing part of the show among a few other things, but jango was the main thing for me. And the only change I would make to your pitch is maybe including a few references to Zam Wesell like in his father’s journal or even just having boba mentioning her fondly in reference to his past. Also I do want to see the unfinished clone wars boba fett arc it’s just the most frustrating part is that Lucas film treats the full arc as canon and yet the only people who have seen the full context of the arc are the people at Lucas film.

2:14 Even thought I would love to see that, cosmonaut variety hour brought up a great point that the boba Fett we want is just the mandalorian. The mandalorian is a bounty hunter with a lot of cool gadgets, says few words, and rarely takes off his helmet. I basically described boba Fett in the original trilogy. I think what the book of boba Fett was trying to go for was that the whole show would be a character arc with him breaking from his bounty hunter past, the weird tree scenes seemed to have happened for that reason.
@hk13712 жыл бұрын
I'd actually disagree as once Grogu is introduced, Bounty Hunting is only ever brought up once as a mission for Din to do. With this idea, we get to see what could have befallen Din had he not met Grogu and perhaps how just clinging onto the profession can wound one a lot. It has been shown to work of having two characters that, on paper, are very similar if not the exact same. Danganronpa has this brilliantly with Makoto Naegi and Nagito Komaeda acting as his dark reflection which I can go into why they work if you'd like. Book of Boba Fett thought it had an arc but it forgot it's previous show where Boba wasn't kind, intent on respect or willing to bend the knee. He still had a lot of anger in his voice, emphasizing his "s" sounds like the OG Boba and made very real threats. "Careful Princess..." "Mine might be the last one you hear". So it tried to justify Boba's change with the Tuskens despite that happening before he threatens a child with a sniper rifle. The Tree scene doesn't have much to do with him breaking it as he never really struggles with that past. Jango is shown in Slave 1 once and is mentioned by Cad Bane a few times. Remove those few seconds and we don't have anything.
@DrBochen2 жыл бұрын
I want the EU stuff made Canon TBH. I have not seen anything that compares to bobas Story there. Especially the stuff with his Family. That Scene where he sits in Slave I next to his Granddaughter: "We will go to Mandalore by way of Geonosis, cause that is where I burried my dad." and "Boba would be a Father himself, instead of living in the Past in search of one who would never Return" are some of the Lines which gave me goosebumps. Why they put in Tuskens instead of further explaining his connection to Jango and Jester I will never understand. Putting out his name out there is nice and all. But it does not feel right given what we know. That Boba is supposed to be Jesters Legacy as stated by Jango when he requested an unaltered Clone and later revealed to Boba by Taun We (Guess we won't se that either, Thanks Bad Batch) His Illness was never explained.... I could go on and on Bobas Story in the EU is criminally underrated imo. The Stories about him and Clan Skirata are the reason a lot of us learned to Love the Mando'ade in the first place. So in breaks my heart to see the Character of Boba, who had real groth over the course of 6 Books or something like that, reduced to "like a Bantha"... And lets be Honest here. There is no BIG picture, at least not as far as I can see. They teased the Yuuzhan Vong in the Thrawn novels yes. But how would that War look without Jana, Jacen and Anakin Solo or Boba Fett playing both sides and Leading a bunch of Mandalorian Commandos into battle? Yes the EU was full of contradictions like SPAARTI Clones and Stuff like that. But the Authors worked around that (unlike now) they actually read the Media that came before and you can feel that. For example Timothy Zahn's version of The Clone Wars and the Idear of fast grown SPAARTI Clones was used in Karen Traviss Republic Commando Novels whoms Characters in tuns where mentioned and appeard in Later Novels. It Felt more like a living bereathing Universe. And I'm not asking that they copy the EU. But I would like them to at least read it.

The version you made is so much superior to the actual released version, with us just being told boba is a changed man, and cad bane appearing in the 2nd last episode with no context for casual fans, and boba fett being a dumb ass. i liked the tusken part of bofb the most, so it being excluded here kinda sucks, although now thinking back, why would boba want to be apart of a tribe which wouldve worked him to death if he had not proven useful... Overall, how the hell did *you* come up with a more compelling main plot than a bunch of people whose main job is to come up with stories, it kinda sad how a single youtuber made up a better plot (even though its just a rough outline) than a group of full time story writers, and we got the pos that was book of boba fett

The favoritism seems to be because it's wrong how good exploration was given, respect and epic moments to other characters, but they only spent boba humiliating and overshadowing him throughout the program until 5 and 6, they tell you that boba n interests them or seems interesting because otherwise they would have handled the script with enthusiasm instead of turning it into a commercial that forgets a simple plot and introduces its commercial product.

The Saarlacc Pit would have been the best possible way to give rapid character growth and also development of backstory and motivations because of how mind bogglingly horrific it actually would have been to be in the stomach of one. It purposefully keeps sentient beings alive and semi-conscious yet unable to move. They could have made it more or less have him enter a hive mind with all the other people being digested, experiencing all of their feelings, fear, and life stories / experiences to grow him dramatically in ways which may have been contrary to his original character in a believable way. Imagine being in a place of pain and nightmares which feels like 1,000 years despite only being 1 day (ala Tsukuyomi). Just frustrating at the laziness.

I'd love a video on a second season! If you're going into Fennec's backstory, you should know there's a character in The Force Awakens named Crockind Shand, a member of Kanjiklub, who were once slaves of the Hutts on Nar Kanji. If you want, her being part of a people once enslaved by the Hutts could make a good motivation in leaving the cold-blooded crime world behind and being more merciful with Boba.

God I hope Jon and Dave somehow stumble upon this video one day and decide to give us something similar if they make a season 2. I love Temeura Morrison, and he deserved so much better than what they gave him in this show. I get that COVID probably screwed over a lot of the production but still, there are no excuses for a the biggest franchise in the world with infinite funds putting out such a steaming piece of garbage. They have deaging tech, so why they didn't deage Tem for Jango flashbacks or Empire Era Boba is lost to me. Even Daniel Logan, who I don't think is a great actor but that's beside the point, would have easily came back to play Young Boba in a few scenes. Mando should have been no where near this show, neither should Black K. Why we got K and not Bossk and Dengar will always confuse me. Its almost like Filoni was too busy wetting himself over the possibility of bringing over some obscure comics character that he completely forgot of the ones that were already established to even the oldest of fans. Also, reuniting Din and Grogu this early (especially in TBOBF) is one of the worst creative decisions I've possibly ever seen play out on screen. Completely retracts the epicness of The Mando S2 finale. Great video as always man... sometimes I wonder what the hell goes on behind LF's creative doors. Who okays this stuff? Theres got to be one person smart enough to stand up and say "sorry, this is dogshit"

I think a more interesting angle might be one of order and freedom. Feels a little eh of it being about boba “not getting the job done”. could be interesting for star wars, because in a way, bounty hunters represent an ultimate freedom, taking the contracts they like and doing as they like, loose canons, the pirate life. and we can see the opposite of the “empire” in this in reckless cowboyism. making it ”boba is free from bane” (that is free from what?) just kinda feels a bit awkward and manufactured for a clean package. I think it makes more sense that boba championing having a code of honor, a sense of order, in comparison to banes flexibility for an end goal is more interesting. because I think there is a sense of “freedom” in bounty hunting. Thats the motivation there, making it and making it by yourself, the motivation is one of freedom and self mastery. in a Batman’s joker sort of way. But of course, that sort of absolute freedom has consequences. so I think the last words being “im free from you” kind of circumvents the point. Its not that boba choose to be free, but he choose the chains that bind him.

If he wore his normal clothing under the tuskin robes he could have just thrown them off put his armor on and look the same as he did in the OT. I personally think that the armor is not the only thing defining boba but it’s what he wore, what his character depicted him to be. Having him as a “bigger” character changes what we saw him as so long ago

@warsolender10772 жыл бұрын
See in my version it would've started at a flashback with some memories of Jango talking to Boba giving him advice. Then to the book as he was feeling nostalgic for his father as it would've pushed to him try and live more respectful this time. I do like how you incorporated Cad Bane though as I do love a story of a rivalry/mentor experience though I would've added that Cad Bane was taught by Jango or at least given more pointers on how to fight and show some of his more animosity to being second best to Boba's father. While also showing the respect he still had for the man as he would've been safe guarding Jango's armor for boba fett at 13 and would play out similar to the same deleted scene but ends at a draw of shorts with both injured but out of respect and a final favor has Cad leaving Boba in peace only that once. Then cuts to him recruiting former bounty hunters, journeymen protectors and so forth even the nikto biker gang. Would've also brought back his ex-wife and daughter from legends or maybe even make Fennec his ex-wife as a foil for why he helped her contrived I know but it's how you use that it could at least be made more natural like Boba now trying to make amends and become a better person.

eh, idk if i think boba becoming a good guy is optimal. id much prefer that he develops more grizzled mobster honor thing where he is all about respect, doing good turns in kind, and the same with bad one, and doing business seriously otherwise. much more of a rogue cowboy then a sheriff. think like a spartan or a samurai sort of deal. brutal and not afraid to get his hands dirty, but prides himself on his conduct and only respects others who show merit too. caring little for innocents in themselves, but only those who have earned his respect. ending with him being a grey element, both being able to work with heros and villains as he sees fit. I really dont want a pigeon holed goody-two-shoes boba, I think its kinda antithetical to his whole appeal, and isnt really up that characters, or jango’s, alley. his tension with Cade could be more of a sleazy do anything guy vs a stick to your word guy. going more ““No friend ever served me, and no enemy ever wrong me, whom I have not repaid in full.”

Just focus on how and why he ended up utrning up on Tyhton to recover his armour, how he got it repaired and after helping Din and co get aboard Gideon's ship he left and what he did until picking up Fennec to go back to confront Bib Fortuna on Tatooine. So rather than taking over Jabba's Crime Cartel he uses it as his base to establish himself since there's what five years or so where we have no idea what he has been doing after all!

My Personal Rewrite (This was written before the video so sorry if anything is very similar) Although I'm unsure how the episode structure of these Disney Plus series' work due to budget and other factors I won't have a definite number of episodes for this season.Ideally I would want to 12 but at minimum I'd say 9; Wandavision had 9 so why shouldn't this series been capable of 9. My version of the series will have a significant focus on Boba evolving over time and the gang war story will be more sidelined and will simply be in place to further Boba's development. I would structure the series into 3 parts so it's more like an actual book which the title suggests.The 3 parts will be teenager boba slightly older from TCW,Adult boba in his bounty hunting prime and then the post sarlacc Boba we saw in the series. The purpose/meaning of the series will be based around the life of Boba and how much his life was impacted been a misguided child in the galaxy without a father figure to guide him whilst also showing the life impacts of been raised by toxic and manipulative individual or rather individual. Episode 1-2/9(or 1-3/12): Teenage Boba Fett These Episodes would essentially be the unfinished clone wars arc but with further expansion.Boba will be similar to Clone Wars with a larger enpathis on his wellbeing.Boba will be established to appear brave and fearless whilst having a layer of honor and innocence beneath him.We'll see how how his father still has a significant influence on his life encouraging him to be honourable and still been young having a layer of inocence.This lonely but respectful boy is shattered by the influence of Cad Bane.Cad Bane will be established to the primary antagonist through the full series despite not appearing in all episodes but will still have a haunting presence on Boba.Cad Bane's ruthless and merciless way on bounty hunting and life in general severely affects Boba due to his lack of maturity to truly understand Bane.Boba initially begins to develop an urge to kill Bane due to his lack of empathy to others but Bane's influence creates a real killer instinct inside of him.Boba no longer wants to kill Ban due to his mentality but rather because he wants overthrow Bane to prove himself that he isn't just an useless clone.The same deul happens between the two of them with the new implementations in place.Boba keeps the blaster dint on his helmet as a permanent reminder of who he needs to prove is superior than. Episodes 3-4 (or 4-6/12) These episodes will explore Boba in the prime of his bounty hunting life and will be the classic boba that most imagined him to be.Through these episodes we see how much Bane has influenced Boba essentially transforming the youthful son of Jango into a carbon copy killer which Bane was.Boba is shown to be a ruthless killer and even torturing others just for the sake of his reputation.Boba also always chooses to work independently refusing the help of anyone.Boba Fett has become a notorious name that strikes fear into people's hearts.During these episodes Boba is working for a brand new crime organisation that is just as heartless and selfish as he is. Episode 5:The Tusken Tribe (or episode 7/12) Boba is shown in a flashback to have been druged before been thrown in the sarlacc which explains how he was easily defeated in ROTJ.The poison lasts a continuous amount of time whilst in the sarlacc which makes him rexprience his full life and reconsider what he has become.Boba escapes the sarlacc after a year. Essentially the same as the series with a few changes.When they find boba the tuskens don't hold him like a traditional prisoner but rather keeping him as company showing him respect hoping he'll respect them which he eventually does.Instead of killing the beast in the desert the tuskens tame it and the beast develops a strong bond with Boba.Through the Tuskens welcoming the beast Boba begins learning about how to correct his merciless ways.Boba spends 4 years with the tuskens. Episode 6: Boba finds Fennec/Boba ruling Tattooine/present day (Or Episode 8:finding Fennec and Episode 9:Boba present day/ruling tattooine.) Episode 7: The Ruler of Tattooine (or Episode 9 and 10) Essentially the mos espa storyline but obviously improved which I don't care to develop on too much.Boba would clearly struggle to balance his rage.The major change is that instead of the Pykes been the villains it is the criminal organisation Boba worked for in the bounty hunter boba fett episodes. Episode 8:The Return Of The Mandolorian (Or Episode 11) The episode was perfection and can be incorporated into the themes of the series of honour and fatherhood. The Cobb Vanth/Cad Bane scenes will be added at the end and Vanth would actually die. Episode 9 (12): The Battle Of Mos Espa Boba and crew expect the attack to be at the palace to kill him. Bane reveals he killed the Tusken Tribe Boba is forced due to peer pressure to let Bane sit in the palace to have a civilised conversation with Bane. Bane and Boba both talk about their history and Bane explains that he disappeared because he was proud Boba was there to be a young replacement to fill his place in the galaxy and he explains he is back to relight the killer instinct. The team are caught off guard when the attack happens at mos Espa. The final battle is the same with improved action but Tusken Raiders show up to help The Boba vs Bane fight is the same but now has much more depth and meaning. Boba thanks Din for been a reminder of what he can be become and respects his code of honour Boba then warns Din of the danger that leaving a child can have on their future and explains how his life for 30 years was ruined due to thr absence of his father.Boba also tells him it was in fact the jedi who killed his father which builds tension in his Din's mind. Boba Fett is no longer a name which creates fear but is a name which is a reminder or strength and power.The people of Tattooine chant "Boba Fett" as Boba dramatically puts his helmet on in victory.

I really like the direction you took with Boba Fett. Unlike the writers for Disney, I expect protagonists to undergo character arcs. You made Boba sympathetic and understandable, and managed to tie the threads of his story from the Clone Wars and OT together while still taking him to new places.

19:40 final one, seems like it would be a good show, but while Boba Fett is usually cold hearted he’s been shown to have a softer side, like when he spared the equivalent of his brother almost mid way into the empires rule, if you haven’t checked out that story it’s amazing, it starts with Jango being sent to kill one of his own clones, it should be canon like the Jango Fett game
@Phytobiogenes Жыл бұрын
I like this, my only critique that I think could add to Boba’s story is if Jango is made a true Mandalorian again, kinda like in the EU, where he was at one point a Mandalorian of well repute to some splinter group who then became a bounty hunter and later the genetic father of the clones as a way to funnel money to the mandalorians. I think it could better solidify Boba’s drive to regain some sense of honor versus the pull of temptation to give in and become like Bane because it’s easier.

A WHILE ago when the sequels just ended their run, me and à couple of friends tried to "rewrite" (the only character we ended up keeping was finn) them. Anyways, the basic idea of the third movie was the "resistance" (not the new republic) running from system to system desperately trying to unite the "7 great syndicates", groupes of outlaws/bounty hunters/what have you, which were more or less the only forces able to stand a chance against the remnants of the empire, led by, of course, thrawn. Anyhow, the great syndicates where led by Rotta the hut, the Pykes, and the Fett syndicate. To make a long story short, we originally planned for each movie to have a different mentor for the main character, the first one was Luke, and the second was Boba (the idea was Luke would teach nobility and so on, and Boba would teach the idea that getting the job done was the most important part, by any means necessary) but as said previously we ended up scrapping it. We kept trying to make him a character but eventually realized that honestly Fett rocked, but he wasn't really interesting. We figured out that we much preferred Boba as just a stoic silent gun than a "character" like in the clone wars so just made him a cool, shittalking warlord that hater the Hutts and basically ran his own mercenary guild because he could. Anyways I'm going to get buried but I love the idea sheev!

I agree completely, this would have been good, and I never cared about Bobba as a character. He was just some Bounty hunter that Darth Vader mildly reprimanded and was unceremoniously knocked into a Venus fly trap by a blind guy.

Wait wait wait- Holographic book that Jango left behind for Boba? Wasn't that in a Boba Fett book series based between Ep. 2 & 3??? Dude, that would've been such a cool inclusion! That book series was one of my favorites growing up and I'd love to see it actually played out on screen 😩😩😩 Edit: Now that I've finished the video, I very much prefer this take on what The Book of Boba Fett could've been and would very much love to hear your follow up Season 2 idea for this story. Like, don't get me wrong I loved getting to spend time with the Tusken's and us getting to see them for more then what we've been usually given in the shows and movies, BUT this is definitely a better take on why Boba is so different from the OT and now. More Tusken content could be given to us at a later time, maybe even having Boba come to some kind of agreement with them and treating them like actual people to better his territory in a way no one else, Jabba for example, ever bothered to do

For me, I'd take the other famous bounty hunters from the movies and shows and take story cues from a manga called Sakamoto Days. Which is about an assassin that has retired and settled down but his former colleagues (for various reasons) refuse to let him leave without a great deal of trouble, violent trouble. I'd have a version of Boba Fett that, like in the show wants to retire (and honestly you'd need no better reason than what happened in episode 6, as you said, that would rattle anyone) but in this context we'll do some (hypothetical) world building into the culture of Star Wars bounty hunting and say (like Sakamoto Days) it's a profession that you never retire, you do it until you die, or the job kills your. And the act of trying to leave causes conflict with these former bounty hunter colleagues causing Boba Fett to have to fight tooth and nail to preserve his new way of life. I like this as an idea because it allows for conflict and for Boba to really examine his life and wonder if it's worth it. You can even see him change throughout the show where at first perhaps he kills the hunters sent after him without batting an eye but over time begins to hesitate and even refuse to kill then, this hesitation could even be used to put him in some tough spots and display the kind of intellect he had in the OT but having to use his brain. It also allows for some enemies to become allies and vice versa.

Boba should also have spare armor on his ship (like the EU, at least the pre-prequel EU) established. That way we get a Fett who looks like Fett, the armor doesn’t have to be a paint by numbers duplicate, it’s just iconic armor that we expect him to be in.
@sokosokolowski28232 жыл бұрын
I only disagree with Fet refraining from killing when he can star wars isn't a superhero universe were killing could only be justified is self defense. I think focus should be more on Boba's honor, and honor already involves not killing innocent people

I think the series had a lot of good ideas that were underused. I'm also guessing that the budget was pretty limited compared to the Mandalorian and that's why they stick to pretty much just Tatooine, so I'll do that too. If I were to rewrite it, I would start it off with Boba escaping the salac pit, Jawas stealing the armor and Boba ending up with the sandpeople. This would be the present time for most of the series. I think him beeing their worker in exchange for food and shelter could work. It could be explained that he couldn't leave, because he had no way out of the desert. He could still save the tusken child in self defense and be accepted into the tribe slowly afterwards. I would spend more time with them, scavenging, hunting, capturing banthas, learning to fight with a gaffy stick, connecting with the tusken child, making his own gaffy stick. These scenes could be paired up with flashbacks to his past with his father, maybe other young clones and the bounty hunters. In the fourth episode the spice train plot could happen. It doesn't have to be a spice train, but something attacking the sandpeople, Boba doing something about it, without thinking about consequences and it leading to the sand people beeing killed. I think something smaller scale then the Pikes would be better, maybe just Bib Fortuna. I'd connect him beeing absent for the slaughter to him going after the flares, finding Fennec and bringing her to the cybernetics guy. While she is beeing operated/recovering, he returns to the village and finds the dead sand people. He then returns to Fennec and asks her to help him get his armor back for his revenge. They hear of Cob, but Boba comes too late and sees Din leaving with his armor. To track down Din they get the Slave 1, maybe a bid more stealthy then in the series. We see the ship jumping to hyperspace and the next episode starts with the ship returning to Tatooine after The Mandalorian Season 2 finale. In the next two episodes we could then see Boba recruting other bounty hunters to overthrow Bib, promising to treat them better. These bounty hunters would be people he and/or Fennec know already and that either owe him one or don't like Bib. The finale could then be them taking over the palace. Most of the 2 1/2 episodes that were pretty much just the Mandalorian 2.5 should just be part of the 3rd season of the Mandalorian. A scene of Din entering the new place of his clan could be the credit scene or just a shot of Grogu meditating with Luke.

Here is my REWRITE. I will carve a new path for the season but start in a familiar way. Episode 1- The Rising Suns Cold open to the sail barge fight just as Boba is struck by the vibrostaff. Boba POV as he falls into the mouth of the pit beast. Boba falls deep into the stomach of the beast and hits his head on the head of a skiff guard. Blackout. Cold cut to a flashback where Boba and Bane are in their famously scrapped showdown. The two have their preamble. Bane: “You’re about to learn a dangerously valuable lesson Boba.” Boba says nothing and the scene pans out according to the preliminary animation. Pan over Boba as he’s laid out on the ground and as he jolts back up from his K.O, he wakes up in the stomach of the beast. Boba uses a vibroblade to cut through the stomach of the beast and allow sand to fill in the beast’s stomach. The beast then regurgitates Boba much like the comics and he lies on the sand for says, long after the sand beast has died due to internal bleeding. Boba’s armor is scavenged and he manages his way back to the palace in order to gather himself and his ship. Fett would learn that the palace is suffering from massive infighting and looting. In the midst of the madness, Boba must retrieve his ship and seek out local scrappers for his armor. This is when he gets a life signature on the edge of the dune sea and find Fennic. Episode 2: Generations of Allies. Boba would heal Fennic and tell her about his father and Zam. Boba would let Fennic know he needs her to help him find his armor, and until then, she was at his mercy. The series from then on out would be Fennic and Boba searching the desert planet before hearing about Mos Pelgos, meeting the sheriff, and tracking Din down.

A while ago I had an idea for the Mod Gang. One, they're slaves barely out of their teens. I mean, Tatooine runs on slavery. And no selfrespecting crimelord would let another gang cause a mess in their territory, especially not such a smalltime gang as them. Stealing water without conequence my hiney. So, they're slaves. Two, their cybernetics were forced on them by their owners. These kids are expendable tools as far as the crimelords are concerned. Three, their tricked out hoverbikes are escapism. A little sliver of freedom that the crimelords tolerate as long as it not gets in the way of their profits. I mean, Anakin was allowed to build his own protocol droid so why not. And these bikes do go fast. So after Boba Fett gets his moral compass readjusted by the Tusken Raiders he meets the Mods out in the desert getting drunk and racing their hoverbikes. They tell stories about daily hardships in Mos Espa, or in short, slavery sucks. Boba promises change but they just laugh at him. They do not fear him, they do not respect him. His name means nothing anymore, he's become a joke. He tells them he will keep his word nevertheless. Then one of the kids gets executed. He got a bit too cocky and took too much from his boss. Now he's put on display to send a message to Mos Espa. Don't cause problems. You are expendable property. This only galvanizes Boba's resolve and he goes on a murder spree where he takes out every criminal who stands in his way. The other modders see this and they decide to join him. "He fights for us, we have to fight for him!" Slowly the people of Mos Espa rally behind Boba. Then Tusken Raiders arrive. The show ends with the people of Mos Espa together with the Tusken Raiders chasing the last of the crimelords to a starship, lead by Boba on a Rancor. Because why not. To rule with fear is to know who to scare and who not. In Hutt Space Boba Fett's name is spoken in fear, but the people of Tatooine say it with pride and respect in their voice. The closing scene brings in Cad Bane who gets hired by the Hutts to end Boba Fett's life at any cost. This is a space western. In season one you chase all the vermin off the planet. In season two you have the epic showdown and the consolidation of power by Boba.

I would have taken it all the way back even further. Show him leaving Geonosis during the end events of Attack of the Clones. Show his dad's bounty hunter friends take him under their wings. Show him initially struggle to be brutally efficient in his first bounty hunt, but build himself into closing his heart to the suffering of others. Show him taking a bounty from Darth Vader himself. I would have just taken it all the way back before the original trilogy began.

This is a concept I’ve been thinking of but I feel that if I did write book of boba fett I would probably have it be set similar to your take but focus more on boba traveling the galaxy, while adapting into it war of the bounty hunters and the Star Wars bounty hunter game, mainly in the form of introducing into the canon rozatta who boba learns was a good friend of jango and she tells him a side of jango boba never saw, he’s given a job by the hutt syndicate to capture a trio of targets for a large reward of new republic credits since imperial credits would be worthless, when boba finds the targets he discovers their a trio of force sensitive children who were sold to the hutts and boba debates to himself on whether to turn them into the hutts given it would be revealed he has a prejudice against Jedi given they killed his father, however in the end he would decide to not turn them in which causes the syndicate to put a large bounty on his head kickstarting possibly another war of the bounty hunters depending on that stories canon to the series, and the story would be boba traveling across the galaxy taking on work for those who are willing to hire him, and we could see boba possibly bonding with the three kids and possibly take them under his wing as foundlings similar to din and grogu, mainly this would stem from another concept I saw where another person wrote boba as not being good at talking to people due to jangos death, but boba can more easily talk with these kids as they would find his exploits as something that is cool

They had every excuse to more directly tie the series into Return of the Jedi and the original trilogy and just... didn't. They also had access to Luke Skywalker/Mark Hamill and didn't have him interact with the title character. You know, after Boba has a strong grudge against Jedi, probably more so against the one that helped put him in the pit.

Speaking on your big bounty idea from the beginning; what if said bounty was for Mando or that awful green abomination? Now I think both shows are awful and should not exist within the Star Wars universe, but I’m working with what I have here. Also, having watched the video fully now I can comment on your take. I definitely wouldn’t take it the same direction you did, however I think you managed to create a very interesting and compelling narrative working within the limitations you set for yourself. Personally I’d have preferred the show to keep the badass cold blooded killer boba fett going around mercing fools, but whatever lol. Good job.

One thing you didn't justify was how Boba's helmet has a dent since it's been retconned into beskar rather than draftees. We see in Mando season that beskar can survive a direct shot from a star destroyer laser with no damage whatsoever (the spear).

In my version of The Book of Boba Fett, it is simply just called "Boba Fett" and is 8 episodes, with only one of which being set after The Mandalorian season 2. The series would then be structured as follows; Chapter 1 begins with Boba being dragged into the Sarlacc and falling unconscious, remembering his life as a child with Jango, and how he trained him up to be a bounty hunter. Chapter 2, still in the stomach of the Sarlacc, sees Boba remember his life as a bounty hunter, partaking in a mission that mirrors what is yet to come, it also shows some animosity between him and Jabba’s majordomo Bib Fortuna.. In Chapter 3, Boba finally escapes the Sarlacc, but his victory is short-lived as Jawas soon take his armour, followed by Tusken raiders who imprison him, but Boba ends up saving them unintentionally in an act of self-preservation. After some time since the events of Chapter 3, in Chapter 4, Boba is now training with the Tuskens, earning their respect and becoming a member of their tribe, as well as introducing Bib Fortuna as a series antagonist. Now being a fully fledged member of his Tusken tribe, Chapter 5 sees Boba fight with a rival Tusken warrior and solidifies his place as one of the Tuskens. In Chapter 6, we see Boba do many things with his tribe, showing the feeling of family he now has, and also feeling like a sort of calm before the storm. Chapter 7 sees the slaughter of Boba’s tribe at the hands of Fortuna, who were a financial burden on his allies, and Boba living life alone in the desert, remembering his past and everything he has lost, bringing him to a very low point in his life before he finds and rescues Fennec Shand. Finally, in Chapter 8 we see Boba team up with Din Djarin, as well as Cobb Vanth and the people of Mos Pelgo in a battle against Fortuna’s men, with the episode ending with Boba and Fennec entering Fortuna’s throne room and Boba killing him. Other than the main two flashback episodes, there would be other flashbacks scattered throughout the other five episodes which aren’t the series finale to do with Boba’s life as either a bounty hunter or growing up with Jango sprinkled throughout the series.

I figure why try to reinvent the wheel? We have seen a career killer try to leave that world behind only to get pulled back in and having to fight their way to the top. It's John Wick. We don't need a noble character, just one that resonates with the audience. I'm not one for gratuitous violence and action for the sake of action, but trying to bend a pre-existing character into a role they're not fit for is a recipe for disaster. Boba's not a hero, but that doesn't necessarily mean he's a villian. Give him something to care about that isn't forced, and then have it taken from him. For Wick it was his wife, and her last act of love. For Boba it can be anything from his father's legacy to a close friend or work partner or a protegee or son like figure. I think abstract is the way to go with it, as to not copy John Wick 1 to 1. Also, despite liking John Wick 1 the other movies fall flat because they lose site of the emotion and heart of the first entry. Something best avoided for a series likely intended to run for multiple seasons.
