Wow, I didn't even know that all these comments where removed. I remember blocking a guy that was spamming racist comments, but now I see all of his comments are suddenly gone. How is this possible???

That may very well happen as well. But perhaps in the opposite way than you think. If more attacks happened, the American population may pressure the government to take even more drastic action. Right now, the population is very divided, some calling for peace, some calling for war. If those calling for peace were directly affected they may change their attitudes. We could end up with Muslim concentration camps or mass deportation. I hope that does not happen but I see it as a possibility.

If a group or demographic is at a higher risk than others there is usually inconveniences and lack of equality. Young males pay way more for car insurance and I don't consider it sexist. I'm not advocating strip searches specifically but if the government can prove that the majority of terrorist attacks are caused by a specific demographic then that group should be more heavily screened than the average person.

Israel has been sucessful at preventing attacks? then how does Israel justify its actions against the palestinians, the gaza strip, the west bank and the lebanon. and how would you feel if you were tortured, kept from having legal council or being charged with any crime (those are war crimes, see geneva convention); I would be absolutely pissed off and try to get revenge in any way, shape or form, that's just common sense.

@TurbanzRus3 I'm not attacking any particular race, I'm attacking beliefs. Religion in general should be eliminated. It promotes stupidity and justifies it with divine reasoning. Regurgitating information rather than seeking out information for themselves. People usually dont choose to be religious, it is forced upon them by their parents. Muslims are Muslim because they were told to be. Christians are Christians because they were told to be, etc.

Picking a religion is the equivalent of making a wild guess but preaching to others that you positively know the truth.

@TurbanzRus3 Sorry, but I am not an atheist. And I agree that many people are atheist because of their parents. I find them just as ignorant to be honest. Religion is the belief in God, atheism is the belief of no God. I am an agnostic, the belief that the truth is beyond our comprehension and therefore pointless to pursue. We dont claim that the answer is written in a book, we admit that we dont know. I was raised Catholic and came to the conclusion that it did not make any sense.

@TurbanzRus3 I studied world religions and can not find a thread of truth in either of them except perhaps Buddhism, which is more of a philosophy of life rather than an organized religion. I never subscribed to the notion of a diety, portrayed as some great and powerful man creating people, not showing himself but saying "believe in me or go to hell." And almost every religion's diety says this. Picking one faith seems to anger the diety of another. Is he really that small minded and vain?

Is it so hard to believe that theres a group of people who dont believe in anything? And your lion example is too simplistic. Its more like gambling at a casino. You have two options: You can choose to bet or not to bet. If you bet, you can win or you can lose, if you dont bet there is no gain but no loss either.

@TwistyMcFisty oh ok I guess diff agnostics have different beliefs, such as agnostic theist and agnostic atheist your casino parable doesnt work because with religion not choosing by default you have made a bet against it you have major religions, most religions say unless you accept their path you will go to hell.... so you as an agnostic choose to bot accept any of those religions so you if are wrong which you can be since you said agnosticism is about not knowing then you lose by default
