EDIT: After server issues died down, we are getting 1 legendary each time these are run, so wanted to make sure we correct our comment here and apologize. After getting both ourselves and a whole group in our community to re-run them last night to verify it again. Wanted to make sure that was correct. Chests still don't drop legendaries though across the board. FYI Everyone, you don't get the legendary rewards a second time completing hunts/bounties. It's a 1 time thing that we've thoroughly tested in every single guaranteed legendary source so far in the game. Also regular world chests don't drop legendaries.

@@ghstproject We ran each of these 3 full times and only the very first time did it grant a legendary reward. Maybe it's a chance at a legendary the following times but ourselves as well as numerous others in our community did not get a legendary even the second time completing a full set.

@@ghstproject The guaranteed legendary is only on the first completion, just like specific bosses. Repeating them gives a slight chance, but still not 100%.

I've also ran the Creature hunt questline 5 times and have received a guarantee Legendary Armor piece all 5 times. Has yet to be a duplicate piece.

The hunts, historical artificats, and bountys do always give you a guaranteed legendary. Also you can do them at any world tier. So if all you are looking to do is get legandaries for the mods (the weapons themselves don't matter.) you can do all three on world tier 1 turn them in get your legendaries rinse and repeat. 3 legendaries for about 35-40 minutes of work.

For people with server connectivity issues, try this: If you can sign in, go to options, set party settings to closed and turn crossplay off. Not sure if this works on console, but on PC this fixed most of my connection problems

I honestly don’t know where I’m at in the campaign or how long it is until I reach the end of it, but I’m making my way to some town in the middle of the jungle. It’s right after the big lava spider boss and clearing out the nearby insurgent camp.

Not true when I was a lvl 19 tier 9 a buddy that was lvl 30 joined up on me (pre recent game breaking patch; like day 3 of game release) and got a the bulwark out of a random chest.

I believe they fixed the farming of all wanted/hunt quests, you only get the guaranteed legendary once. That said. The first time that I finished the final step of Outriders Legacy was on a Level 10 character. I had joined a friend's Level 30 lobby to test powerleveling, and we both got 10 legendary weapons and 1 legendary armor each. When I completed it on my main, I received 1 legendary. Broke down the level 10 legendaries for the mods.

Luckily the Big Iron quest was bugged when I tried the first time and I had to complete it later. By the time I got back to it, I was world tier 13 (would have waited a bit longer if I knew). Had to pick the rifle though as I already had the other two.

If you get a legendary weapon, or have one from the demo and also armor you can literally upgrade the legendary to your character level at the mod shop if you don't want to trash it for a mod

And here i am at lvl 25 world tier 12 and just gotten past the forest. Lots of death and frustration at this dificulty. But thats part of the fun.😅 Mostly done all sidequest so far. But have stoped delivering the Hunt and wanted quests. And waiting for later as the reward still scale after completion as long as one dont collect them

The disconnects are due to massive authentication requests on the server at the same time. The game is peer to peer. Your PC/console is the host server.

Big Iron and Outriders questline is not repeatable for legendaries, unless they drop from mobs i guess. The Hunter and Bountyhunter quests (10 each) are repeatable after you reset them for a legendary. And wish i could shoot baddies better lol. I can only solo tier 1 and 2 expeditions fast enough. Need a skill tree and weapon/mod list that makes me a skill based damage pyromancer.
