You forgot about the strongest mod combo that works on skill builds I haven't tried it on a gun build yet Sandstorm+shadow comet At lvl 49 Sandstorm is 187 315 every 5s And Shadow Comet is 169 104 every 3s so ever 5 seconds is 300k plus whatever your weapon damage is

You only need Feed the flames with absorption and wide grasp to next to never run out of vulcanic rounds. Toss in the second mag armor mod and you are 100% safe to go never out of your ammo. have been running this for a couple of days now and have 0 problems with ammo consumption. Also bullet kindling (more damage against burning target) is a huge benefit if you play that way.

One of my favourite mod combos right now is on my molten eidola, i have grand opening from the darkness charmer shotgun so every shot creates explosions and the locusts xD

Yea I'm running a 'quick reload' feed the flame build for my pyro with the tier 3 feed the flames mod that can link to 2 more enemies, so I can basically reload a full mag with one ability

Another combo I would like to suggest. For devastator who do not get a bullet ability have to scale ALL your damage into abilities to make you powerful as possible. Therefore all your mods slots mostly want to be filled with T1 ability mod. But now your thinking but my weapon cannot have a mod that effects ability damage. But get this the fortress mod give 43% bonus damage base on Armor on EVERYTHING including abilities. Not really a combo but since there wasn't anything in the video that useful for devastators its a good piece of knowledge.

Definitely more build guides coming down the pike. We're trying to focus on the gameplay stuff first while people are still working to get to the end-game and then we'll pivot on the end game stuff. I know a lot of people are already at the end game, but we're trying to make sure the casual players still have the video resources they need to be successful.

I bieleve there's a more consistent way for trickster to keep their ammo full. I'm currently rockong Perpetuum Mobile on my weapon and tbh it pisses the living hell out of me. Whenever you're left with just the boss or elite, you will more likely than not run out, especially if you rock pump action or auto narrow var shotgun. And once that happens you're pretty much screwed. Now I am rolling the rng dice to find Ugake Otarah's Cowl for one reason and one reason only - to get Instant Reload. It's a mod for Hunt the Prey (skill I already use) that will fill up your current mag once the skill is used. With all the nodes for movement skill in your passive tree, HtP should be around 6 sec cd, add some cd reduction in item stats and you're set. You get full mag of altered ammo without relying on killing anything. And this will free a very important weapon mod slot for me (Instant Reload is an armor mod) to pimp up that daymague and make my life easier in higher cts.

As always, great, smart video. I'm just starting out on a Trickster, Im not a Min Maxer but I would like to push my way up the tiers. So far, I love what I call Blink Bubble & Boom with my shotgun. Blink to the baddie, pop the time warp "keepin' slow" bubble, and one shot with a shotgun. My main is Technomancer and Im burnt out on assaults, I really want my Trickster to be shotgun based, but wow - I always run out of ammo! Im curious as to what you all would recommend specifically for shotguns (in terms of ammo preservation) that doesnt involve Twisted?

There are a few mods that will help a shotgun build be more devastating. Though crit hits with a shotgun(especially the fast shooting one) are a bit tricky with but with crit hit mods that don't consume ammo, can be useful for example. I'm not going to go into all ideas as I'm sure there are many videos on the topic that explain better.

This game honestly is such a refreshing shooter looter that has been taking me back to the Destiny Vanilla golden days!! All this game needs now is a few more world tiers added if they don’t nerf the mods, and of course the addition of raids!! Nonetheless, the team had done great and I love that it’s on the game pass! Have you had any problems regarding inventory? Apparently the new patch is causing a complete inventory wipe. Not only is everything in your storage being deleted by also everything you have equiped.

I actually did not lose my inventory. But that is horrible that so many people have! Oddly enough this game reminds me of the division and when they pushed an update, I lost my entire character also and didn’t get it back for 2 months or so... it was a game killer for me... 🤦🏼‍♂️

I found the storm whip + ult storm whip combo by taking a chance on a auto pistol I liked. DPS like crazy and never have to worry about ammo supply boxes! It has been my oh s*&t button many times during my playthrough. Playing as Technomancer, I also found that instead of going all in on toxic, and dividing between freeze and toxic mods leads to ridiculous combo DPS when you can continue your infinite ammo shots to the head of a briefly frozen boss or behemoth.

Remember if you guys get stuck some of the tier 2 mods can do decent work until you get those tier 3's, gravedigger's frenzy(dps), dmg absorber(armor) and rejuvenate( all rounder) for example

I just hit level 30 and I'm WT12... I tried an expedition for the first time (solo) and made it to the boss but died with a little over half his energy left and plenty of time for the gold (I believe) I think I'll try my luck again once I hit WT15 and have better gear and mods. And o yea, this is without volcanic rounds. I'm running a more anomaly focused build. There are so many viable builds for endgame. I just keep mixing and matching. I enjoy builds that require smart play and not just shooting. Not knocking anyone's playstyle, just makes playing stale for me. Great vid and best of luck all in their builds.

On pyro, why would you want wide grip (1 extra target) and flame grasper (2 extra targets) when bullet absorption replenishes 33% of your ammo per target? I assume its just a mistake since you said it does 20%?

I am a pyro main and atm i am running basic vulcanic rounds build. Last night i got lucky jinx dubbel barrel legendary with the 1 sec poison proc i love dubble barrel and wanted to use it. So i throw on toxic mag refill mod extra dmg on targets with toxic and killing Spree on it aswell as i Already have the extra dmg to burning targets. This meant i got 35% extra dmg against any target and infinte ammo it worked alot better for me then the perptual ammo mod ” misspelled :P”

Literally what it means, you aim down the sights while holding down the other trigger to shoot. Careful when fighting bosses tho because it'll zoom in your vision and you might miss ground indicators of incoming attacks. But the mod is worth having for the effect!

What's counts as a crit? Just wondering because waste a weapon mod on tier 3 bleed application for vampyric mag, because base crit % is only about 5%, and it's too inconsistent to rely on I guess it's a trade off to use the tier 3 weapon bleed mod instead of perpetual, then save an armor mod slot.... so a guaranteed 40% ammo on bullet kill vs a chance for it and trying to kill the mob in a small ammo window. I wonder if in the future they'd consider modding the ammo abilities to be passive, not quite as powerful but you just activate it and it has a passive effect on any bullets, opening you up to swapping weapons more instead of relying on LMGs

You need to add a single shot sniper with freeze in reload for boss fights. You can literally keep them in place and doing insane amounts of damage

Keep in mind some bosses are actually immune to freeze. The status still pops up under their health, but they do not freeze.

Yep, infinite ammo where you dont actually reload keeps your anomaly bullet abilities up until you have reload.

Right now im stuck on Expedition Level 13. I can't complain damagewise, but survivability. I got Emergency Stance and Mitigation from Death, but most of the time i just die of "1-hits". Well these are not exactly 1-hits. For example - today an Alpha Perforo jumped at me and I got hit by a Crawlers laser beam right after the Alpa Perforo hit. The Alpha Perforo draining about 30% of my health (so Golem did not trigger) and the laser beam giving me the rest. These kind of instakills happen quite often to me

People have confused the Devs trying to tune the hardest content to a higher difficulty with "being punished". Fallback argument is, "(its pve, why do they care if it we feel like gods)"? Two answers to that. 1. They want something available for players seeking maximum challenge. Those players exist too. 2. If your goal is to feel like an unstoppable god, they already left something in the game specifically for you: turn down your world tier/challenge tier to feel as godlike as you want. You can literally pistol the entire game if thats your thing. You know, solitary is a solo card game. If you want, you can just move cards wherever you so desire. Wont hurt anyone. Its when you disrupt the person seeking to truly challenge themselves as the game creator intended that theres an issue. When your 6 feet tall its super easy to dunk on a 4 foot rim.

It does fantastic damage no matter WHAT level you're at. Whether it is level 9 or 50. Pairing it with other powerful mods like the lightning one mentioned in other comments will really increase your damage. Even the anomaly booster mod will increase your firepower and if you put on anomaly boosting mods on your armor, your firepower will go up even higher for a duration.

You can only change one mod on a piece of gear or weapon, you can't change both of them

I'm not sure I agree with you entirely. KZbinrs and Streamers may have pushed the end game hard, but it's PCF that decided to making tuning adjustments because of that 1% of players pushing CT15. Is that the right move? I personally don't think so. Just because a small group can absolutely crush the game doesn't mean that's the experience for the rest of the population and that's where the disconnect is. Hopefully they take another look at the changes and realize that part of the fun is giving people the power to be successful in the game, but as usual, it's a wait and see kind of situation.

Bleeds+ weapon leech while bleeds with crit gives you 40% weapon leech. Pair that with embalmers rage and your healing 24/7. Try to be smart with the little mobs since they are easy for killing shot appose to the elites.
