I tested this out and found out that level 8 is optimal for godroll gear with the highest armor values. The reason is that 134 green armor piece will be sold at these vendors quiet frequently. If you improve the rarity and level it up to max the armor value will be at 11.3k.

@@Canomaly For the weapons it is a lot harder to get a godroll with high stats. It doesn’t seem possible to get those 99k weapons using this method. The highest I could get was a 92k assault rifle. I had the most luck at level 4. At that level you want the green weapon to be at least 165 firepower to get over 90k firepower. It will take a while to get it if you are looking for a specific weapon type. I recommend having multiple alts and to check the vendors regularly.

@@CanomalyHere is an update on what values you should be aiming for. The highest firepower assault rifle I found is now at 95.1k. You need a level 4 green with 175 firepower for this. The highest firepower rifle I have ever seen is at 95.5k.

This totally works. Picked up a lvl 4 green helmet with 95 armour. Final result was a 11.1k Epic with the 3 attributes I was looking. Rolled Bloodlust on the second attempt 👍 Good stuff 👍

It seems there is a soft lock at 2min and 15s if you do this too quick (lan cable disconnect / reconnect), I think there is number of attempts per 15 or 30min so if you get softlock (internet connection error during authentication step) then wait for some time and you can try multiple times again. It happened to me after maybe 20 attempts in a raw

@@PlayDohBear Confirmed, this works thanks :) When you force close outriders, before you close steam you need to wait until the blue stop button become green play button or it gives an error when restarting the game about a file that doesnt create properly (which can easily be fixed by waiting and restarting the game again).

Having an expanded vocabulary makes you look like a turd you know (haha). Green items are often extremely overlooked. Glad this helped!

One thing you don't know. Sometimes like you say, you break your item this is because the game saves from time to time by itself but you can get around of this. Just buy before you start to reroll an item from any vendor so the game is forced to save and this save will stay until you save again so you can reroll without the fear of breaking

Yep, do know about this, did this back in the day and was still inconsistent and still bricked your items. Ultimately left this out of the guide because of this (you could also travel to a new map via Channa as well to force auto save).

Man, i really PCF change the way attributes and mods work, like, let me change at least one attribute, and honestly, get rid of mod locking, i mean, people will always find a way, look at the inconvinience, having to close the game, start the game, logging in, choose a character, by not letting people change ate least one attribute and not getting rid of mod locking, you are just making people lose time

I think it's fine because it promotes the grind. The games current state just has these oversight workaround, which are tedious. I'm onboard the train of getting these fixed, but until then, it's an option that's available.

@@PlayDohBear you still would have to grind to get the materials to upgrade the attributes and get the mods, and, now that timers are gone, letting people choose to change one attribute, and letting people mod how much they want, favours experimentation with a lot more types of builds, hybrids and unused powers without having to spend a sh*t ton of time to get THAT perfect roll of attributes, armor value and mod combination

Naw- the 50 portion of this is that you have the ability to farm some bosses to get loot to scrap for money/farm resources.. and with that you can then buy the gun and use resources to upgrade it. His note in the video was more for new players so they can realize they cant open the game and have access to this, yet.

Not sure I 100% understand but the firepower roll on your gun does not mean you're missing out on a lot of damage. For example a 99.4k Deathshield will still do around the same amount of damage vs. a 80k FP Deathshield. You can use the calculator (description) to see what the FP roll of a gun can be at lvl 50. At the moment, you'll need to upgrade your weapon to level 10 to find out what it will roll at 50 (calculator is not updated for lower level guns right now).

Has anyone figured out if there is a level restriction on what mod you get? I'm trying to get a specific FASER lvl 1 mod on my pants. And every time I go in to reroll it, I'm only ever given the choice of a Heatwave, Thermal Bomb or Feed the Flames mod on a level 3 or 4 armor peice. But on a lvl 11 armor piece I'm seeing the additional option of a Volcanic Rounds mod. Does the lvl you unlock a skill matter then on the armor piece level when going for specific mods?

Hi Blue, I am actually not sure on this. I don't see why it would matter, since it is a T1 mod and T1 mods should be unlockable when upgraded to blue. Perhaps really bad RNG?

I do this all the time. I guess I haven’t made a new character to use cheaper resources is all. I look on my higher character and get to be picky about the firepower number and armor number is all. Then I look for the 3 attributes I want and do the whole process.

No, that is entirely something different. The hunts give you that 1x legendary you can always keep re-rolling. This has nothing to do with that.

I also figured out during the Tiago exploit every legendary is a capped at 35. All armor pieces at 35 cap is 2700 All regular weapons Cap is at 14.6k All pistols is at 11kish (not sure)

This is just for legendary pieces. For example my lvl 35 absolute zero was at 14.3k and roll to 98.8 at lvl 50.

Depends on the build you're going for (for armor/weapons). Take a look at some build guides and you'll see what attributes people are focusing on.

The stats roll is great but what sucks on this is the 2nd tier mod. Its random and locks so you screwed. U can f4 all day but that 2nd mod is always shit so this is a waste of time

Lol, what do you mean? 1 mod is always locked. This doesn't change that? You can manipulate any T1 or T2 mod that you need to prioritize then swap the other mod for a T3 or whatever you were looking for, etc.
