Thanks for the idea. Deathshield is great I love pairing it with t3 boneshrapnel. Also can't go anywhere without darkness charmer. On my Pyro alone I can enhance the 200kx2 in a 5m radius up to 1mx2 on every reload. It's my favorite for cc or dropping elites. Grandopening with scrapgernade are great synergy.

So if you get a bloodlust stack, you have 10 seconds before it fades. So let's say you get a 2nd stack with 5 seconds on your 1st, you have 15 seconds. You can eventually have permanent uptime on 3 stacks as long as you gain a new stack faster than 10 seconds consistently.

Lets be real here - none of us who are maining the Devastator give a flying fuck about the other classes, we like a challenge rather then being spoonfed easy mode. The Trickster already got nerfed, if you all reckon the technomancer and pyromancer ain't going to get nerfed sooner rather then later, you're in for a surprise. To the comments about the 1.3 mil firepower but techno's doing that on 1/4 the firepower, that's also because devastators don't have inbuilt armour piercing anywhere near the other classes and that is a problem especially as you get more advanced. @JumpinProductions, this was a refreshing build vid, nice to see a fire popwer based build popping up rather then just the anomaly builds for Dev.

I don’t understand why I don’t get the same numbers when using the same mods... Edit: even if I use same weapons with same mods, same armor pieces with same mods, I don’t have the same damage output. I cannot survive long in CT15, especially after golem inevitably wears off. I have sharp eye, stare into the barrel, etc. everything. Damage output isn’t near this at all. Broodmothers take AGES to kill.

@JumpinProductions but how do you actually get to above 1mill? In the 'Explaining the Build' section, you only get up to around 500k, so what are you doing that gets you up to those numbers?

He got 500k because of weapon dmg boosts, then stacking killing shot buff mods like sharp eyes will be added to his base firepower and get the same increase Base weapon fp is around 80 to 99k Add armor stats which is 8k x 5 pieces We're already at +130k base fire power with no boost/mods and no class tree perks Adding class tree weapon dmg, and constant buffs got him to 500k So, assuming the killing shot mods that boosts firepower scales to this... It pushes to over 1 mill easily But firepower won't do it all, you need %dmg mod to make it the most efficient as it scales to output dmg and skyrocket your dps

deteriorating effects lose potency over time while regular or standard effects are as stated until the effect ends example: 10k firepower for 10 sec "deteriorating" would likely be 5k after 5 sec have passed and possible 1k afer 9 sec have passed. while 10k for 10 sec would = 10k no mater what. even if you only have 1 sec left its still 10k

For bossing you can get the anemoi shotgun and put the fortress mod on it to land a finish hit when the amber vault buff is down

People complain about the class being weak because you need god tier drops and legendary sets 99% of the player base will never see, to actually do something, meanwhile technomancers doing the preorder rifle hack and purples and yoloing CT 15 free with no care in the world

It's not over 1m dmg it's just a glitch. You don't REALLY get over 1m bonus damage. If you fire the weapon then check the stats it corrects the bonus dmg output.

There is a trickster build on YT with 3mil damage and the other classes hit way harder than Devastator so it 100% needs a buff

That's what everyone is talking about then the people started losing there stuff so it took a priority over buffing the devistator. Plus they also nerfed everyone else to bring them down in damage instead of bring the dev up to par. Needless to say people aren't really happy with those decisions

I don't think you misread the set bonus, I think it's poorly worded. Your assumption that the Firepower bonus extended to your teammates, makes perfect sense based on how they structured the description as a single sentence, rather than breaking it up into separately defined bonuses. We could almost infer that the bonus is intended to affect teammates, as this tanky set can be a support build. It would not surprise me if this set bonus just isn't working as intended, like dozens of other mods currently.

Yo man, great build, very creative. One problem though, in my game reflect bullets doesnt seem to add more firepower after you activate it when golem is up, not sure why, was there a patch that made that impossible anymore or am I missing something? Gears and mods are the same as yours too, but the max I get is only around 523k firepower instead of going up to 800k or 1 mil for some reason.

nice build video i look forward to trying this out, to answer ur question about bloodlust basically if u dont get a kill in 10 seconds u will lose 1 stack of the buff so if u kill 3 and dont get another kill in 10 seconds to keep the 3 stacks it will deteriorate to 2 stacks and then down to 1 if u dont get a kill in the next 10 seconds unless theyre being total twats and scrubbing all 3 stacks instead lol

Bone Sharpnel is on killing shot. So doesn't count if the comet kills them. Try putting Golem Riding on it and see if it procs when you kill stuff. Perhaps the issue is my lack of dps. Pity as I was liking the idea of Warden build.

For group play I would use ultimate damage link and it eventually outdamages your gun, best mod for FP Dev, have the T2 golem mod on armour, use FP chest as it's god roll for this build with the 40 weapon damage from tremor. Along with weapon leech tremor heal and golem DR I never need to worry about dying in solo or group play, I have high CDR, no need for golem uptime when I can use more FP mods! Nice survivability build though, can go more glass cannon if you have the gear/mods.

I just tried this build and I don't understand how you're feeling with mobs of enemies while trying to kill a boss solo. I keep dying and I keep getting staggered because monster enemies just keep jumping at me. And I still can't understand how you're hitting a million damage. After all of my buffs I'm at 600K

Yes but the difference is how much time and how much effort went into creating and optimizing this build. Literally every other class could keep up with you with little more than high firepower, choosing top tree and maintaining their round skill. That is were the disparity is found.

That's why everyone is screaming at the devs to up the devistator to put it on par with the other classes. Then people started losing the bank and gear and that took priority over anything else. Please stop hyping up this rubbish with clickbaity video titles, you're doing 150k crits, 400k tops when you get a good Statue stack, which are very low numbers, and you need an almost perfect gearset to make that happen. You had to outgear the activity to even be efficient at it, while other classes are doing this in purples. This video has done nothing but once again prove this class needs a buff.

Keep in mind that the bullet builds don’t have to worry about armor, this does so pulling off those numbers on a devastator isn’t bad, HOWEVER fortress would be MUCH better mod than the golem one on the double gun. It is literally 43% more damage on EVERYTHING you do. That is a HUGE amount of damage. And if you are trying to emulate the bullet builds as a devastator, that mod is a must on your gun.

Legendaries are easy to come by. Especially since there is an exploit. Do the 10 monster hunts. Hand them all in. Dont leave the chat screen with the bartender. Instead go to " what are u selling " then go to ur selling option. It will show ur inventory including thr legendary u got. If its one that u dont need. Just close the game and restart it. Then hand them all in again. Repeat that untill u get the one u want.

Yeah this build absolutely sucks in Co-op play or 3 man play. Everyone kills all the small stuff too quick to be able to buff and stack all your mods. I think some items are bugged cause I have all the pieces in this build and get 800k+ firepower and only hit like 240-280k at close as range. Decent build but not that hard hitting compared to a deathproof/boulder dash FP build. Cheers
