Thank you so much for your vids. I have a lot of farming for mods and weapons to do. I only play Trickster at the moment (all I have time for to play) and I just cant get damage output at all. I think the most I can eek out is 50 mil, while all other players are in triple millions. I wonder if we can play together and take a look what i’m doing wrong. I’m skillful and end up usually with the most crits, but get kicked constantly because of my damage output is so low.

@NickTew, that reason for low set helmet drop rates doesn't make sense unless the game is performing at least two separate rolls per drop - One to determine item category (head, chest, etc) and then a second to determine the drop within it. Given that we have empirical evidence across the entire player base that some items have a higher drop chance than others (cannonball over other sets for example, or set boots/gloves over chest/legs), it seems a lot more likely that set helmets just have a much lower drop rate. This would be consistent with usefulness, as most set boots/gloves have health instead of FP/AP (cannonball being an exception) where chest/legs/head have FP/AP. My personal experience definitely leans that way. I've got over 130 hours on the trickster, and have gotten multiples of several non-set legendary helms, but have only found 1 cannonball and 1 trespassers helmet. Heck, I even got a Devastator boots on him once lol. That being said, great guide; It made me take another look at mods that I don't normally use.

Mine is similar, but I kept Stare into the Barrel on Tanner's Hat, and RNG gave me a BFP/CDR/Close Range chest with Hunt the Prey causes Vulnerable, so when sparing it for Elites it kinda acts like Captain Hunter. I just let the horde of perforos of whatever swarm me and enjoy increased firepower in order to mangle the Boss/Elite, then dispatch the fodder with Time Rift + Pain Transfer. Sadly I can only run T14 until I get my hands on the damned Ugake Otarah's Cowl.

Basically the same build in use mints in stuck with ice blast for now. And then ib have set up for knife also. Where i stack the 20% time off of hunt the prey instead of ammo bargain. I might have to try that instead

Damage absorber is for when you are leveling up and you often end up having to face elites alone - mfd then wears off. Once you are reliably killing elites quickly you can take it off.

Any idea if mitigation from death stacks towards fortress? Also, why do I see everyone using purple gear vs gold? The Ugake set bonus seems way more worthwhile. What is the value in losing the two legendary tier 3 mods & set bonus? (Also just a shoutout. Loved your videos. Very helpful, informative, and funny. Regarding tanner’s hat. Are you sure 10% shotgun damage is stronger than the t3 mod..? If there’s only one enemy it gives 11k fire power.. but 10 % shotgun damage is stronger? I’m trying this build and had a tanner hat in my stash so therefore the question😊 thanks for the guide 🙌

Just glitch it on your gun... Put perpetum mobile on your mod slot and then replace it with whatever you want... It glitches to give you ammo back And i relogged died etc... Still working 😅

If you are running bulwark still, running "The cycle" and "Blood potion" as 2 armor mods nets you a huge+68% weapon damage which as a trickster will be up nearly entire time

Vulnerable would up the dmg... But if you want faster clearance you need aoe for which pain transfer helps... Coz no matter how much dmg you increase it'll only ever be single target

Why WOULDNT you want twisted rounds, for one....? And for two, unless someone else is a firepower built trickster... you shouldn't be worried about getting the most kills or focusing adds. Thats not your job. This build is meant to go for elites and bosses. So bosses/crawlers/alphas/ironclads/captains/behemoths those sort of things. Literally the heavy units. As a firepower trickster you melt and focus them. So not using twisted rounds to burn them down faster would make no sense. Hope this information is helpful...

@@DeadFoxMS89 Experiment, with a full firepower loadout twisted rounds adds 14599 firepower, so I wonder for my friends that has yet to loot Instant Reload is for example, Gunshield (The Borrowed Time mod) which grants a flat 38K firepower or any other setup a good replacement until they get that drop.

What’s the best legendary set to pair this build with? I’m not a fan of using all purples or those non 3 piece legendary pieces for style point reasons when it comes to builds. I kinda came to my own conclusion that the Chronos is more suitable for this build but again I’m not too sure. Whomever answers this question, I appreciate your help and answer.

Well running chronosuit would mean you have to sacrifice either essential sub stats, essential mods or both. That's why purple gear tends to be better since you can get purple gear with both the perfect sub stats and perfect mod setup. You probably wouldn't be able to run his build if you choose to run a legendary armor set. I gave up stare into the barrel plus strong twist so I gave up 50,045 -. 82,270 firepower just for long range and pain transfer armor mod let me tell you pain transfer mod accounts for 50,000,000 damage consistently on Chem Plant so it's actually good, second in damage. First is twisted rounds of course

What's the best way to farm Purple Gear, just do CT15 golds? Pretty much have same build as this video but b/c of old gear using Venators Knife. Would like to try Time Rift with the "cleave/aoe" damage.

The best way to farm purples is actually... to farm greens and blues! Hit up the Haurus (sp?) Monster hunt at The Dunes. Kill the bosses there and let the trash mobs kill you. Check the loot for the three primary stats you want. Junk if not keep to upgrade to purple if yes. Then you have a 1 in 3 chance of getting the mod you want instead of hoping for a perfect random drop.

@@Romoredux you can get any T2 perk by upgrading gear to purple. While of course my experience is anecdotal and RNG can be a bitch I finished my perfect (to me) gear set for my techno last night with the exception of one skills life leech roll I wanted close range damage this way. Only took me a two days of an hour or so each sessions killing the boss on that hunt to get what I needed for rolls. Keep in mind I was also hitting all the stores on cooldown for blues and greens too. Its waaaaay faster than grinding expeditions for purples and hoping for the best. Your also going to be getting purple drop there too so you may get lucky. Run on a really low difficulty so you can quick kill the bosses but not so low it takes forever for the mobs left to kill you.
