If you can land a pair of gloves with a twisted rounds mod that gives ammo back instead of personal space, you won't need perpetuam mobile on your weapon and can use Mages rage, increasing your anomaly power by a huge amount.

Self-medication doesn't do anything anymore. I mean increased hp is good but it doesn't give you any actual HP on activation. So it doesn't really help you.
