rofl. im on the same boat with assault rifle bonus and LMG being left out. for the longest time i’ve always wondered why LMG’s got no love with their own bonus multiplier. finally learned how to properly read cuz the description of what falls into “assault rifle” has been under tricksters assault master skill nod this whole time 🤦‍♂️ any case, awesome video as usual. very thorough explanations. big fan of your content since the game came out, thank you for all your work🤗

Honestly as a techno/trickster main FP Techno, while viable, has been surpassed by AP or hybrid version of Techno. Shieldbeast is amazing and what Im farming up now.

Been using Terminal Velocity set with AP built. Swifted to this built turn out it clear bosses way faster! The only down side, it is more squishy against mobs.

This build is good but instead of venator’s knife I use time rift. It’s Better for mobbing especially with “a little bit of pain mod”, you can easily clear a group of enemies with one time rift. At gear level 65 a little bit of of pain does 2mil damage to enemies over 6 secs, and with the ramped up anomaly power it will do even more damage, close to 4 mil. Venators knife doesn’t do any where near that much damage. When I am fully ramped up I’ve seen time rift reach 2 mil damage per tick.

I use both. Middle tree. Basically permanent shield, more anomoly, plus stacks 50$ more with deception use. Venators doubles your damage so a little bit of pain can completely erase a field while giving alot of survivability

Venator knife is definitely capable of hitting these numbers with its tier 3 mods and has much better usage for elites where as time rift does not always work on elites or bosses

I thought the lock-in mechanic was just for Perpetuum Trickery? I've tried many variations of Shieldbeast/Pax and they all give insane damage and fun. I do wish it wasn't so Ven Knife dependant though, just to try other things. But I never look a gift donkey in the chompers.

The damage ramp snapshot relates to how Twisted Rounds works, nothing to do with PT. Twisted stacks more damage the higher your AP

Gave this a go I do like it but it's a ballache trying to get the right combos going and crits when I end up getting swarmed and trying to land crits when I'm a console player. It's something I will come back to but for now still love the classic FP trespasser build I have.

I think the lock-in mechanic is for a different pax node, the meta as he said. That's the line that gives the extra AR damage and locks in 50% AP. His version is still very fun and viable, but it doesn't require crits to be fun and with a shotgun it wrecks.

Nope, damage snapshot relates to Twisted Rounds Andy, nothing to do with ur Pax tree. Test it yourself, look at the Twisted tooltip damage and ramp ur AP, you will see it going up.

I love it too, it wrecks, but...omg, how the hell do you clear out the Docks for example? In that place, where all those fuckers shoots at you from rooftops miles away, I cant survive even one minute. I can clear out all the remaining rooms in trial, but not a Docks. How do you do it please, any advice?

I got a trickster who can't die, unfortunately, he can't kill either, but triple range time slow plus a damage mod does mean mobs don't exist. The only thing my build sucks against is arbiters, cause apparently, he's too thicc and his hp is too high, so it becomes a situation where everyone i play with constantly dies, and I keep having to pick everyone up cause, I literally can't die from constantly having shields, it's weird.

What are you using to capitalize on all the resistance piercing you have in this build. I wanted you make my build more similar to yours but I didn't wanna lose a gun mod that has a certain status and not utilize all the resistance piercing.

With this version I'm not using Unstoppable Force/No Resistance combo cos you simply don't have enough mods space for that as well.... would have been great though. That being said I'm not overtly focusing on picking up Res Pierce, two nodes in Class tree and the pax node to get me to Spectral, so either way you have to pick it up to get to the nodes you want.

drop cyro for time rift, change ur skill tree so its more heavy bottom and pick up altered executioner. havent tested it yet, can also get the mod when people are time rifled u dont consume ammo. also having no damage ability means you won't reset the 50% anomaly power increase you get from perpetuum trickery

Build is not for me. I put all Crit damage on all armor. Ultimate Freeze bullets and Legendary Minefield mods on weaps with Twisted Rounds, Venator's Knife & Time bubble for close range attacks. I prefer long range damage at first then move in after taking out at least half the mobs.

This build is fun. Use time rift and not worry about shooting normals. My time rift on my baby trickster melts normals and has killed alphas without shooting a bullet

Imo it works better with venator knife. Being able to get shield orbs to ramp up ap and also the aoe damage capable on tier 3 mods and the fact that you’re able to crush elites with venator knife where as sometimes they ignore the effect of time rift.

isn't "PERSONAL SPACE" for shotguns tho? it's not CLOSE RANGE DAMAGE... it's CLOSE RANGE "WEAPON" DAMANGE, this means it's only for shutguns and not assults weapons. Key word "Weapon"

Nope, Close Range Weapon Damage means damage with any weapon within 10m of your character. You could shoot an enemy with a sniper rifle within 10 meters and this damage would benefit from Personal Space. Close Range is a range stat modifier in Outriders, not a weapon definition.

Hi FM. Been watching you for a long time, dude and you're a great channel, for sure. I've played Trickster forever and I love this variation. Like you, I'm not a big fan of firepower builds, I enjoy the anomaly builds more. This hybrid build is is phenomenal and I like the revival of Venator's Knife; it's great. I've been playing around with using the new tier 3 mod that reduces the cooldown on Twisted Rounds from kills while it's active to get more AP from the damage skill on cooldown nodes at the end of the AP tree. It essentially just fluctuates with up and down AP flow and I don't have to worry about snapshotting the Rounds; I just hit it on cooldown to get the extra resistance piercing and AP. Using TR on cooldown and letting it expire also activates the pax tree cooldown nodes too. It's a lot less stressful than trying to keep TR up (it's not hard to keep it up, I know). The only limitation is on bosses when you can't get kills to reduce Twisted Rounds cooldown, but the build already hits like a truck so.... Anyways, good job dude. The edge of time set has spoiled me. I have this whole shieldbeast set and can't use it bc my survivability is Lower even with perseverance shield and golem. With my edge of time setup I'm always leeching constantly I guess I need a good weapon with leech on it
