Thanks so much for posting this. I sail double handed with my wife, so I showed her this video and she now knows how to gybe our asymmetrical. She thinks there shouldn't be a problem because she is used to doing all the jobs your half dozen crew members are doing in the video

So happy you found it valuable. I would suggest pulling main in first then move to the kite, if you steer a smooth path and time it right what could go wrong 😏

We gybe the boat inside every time as our skipper fears dropping one of the sheets down over the bowsprit and getting it caught up under the boat. Big problem for us as we use a continuous spin sheet. Pain in the butt raising the jib, and carrying the chute through every time. I never thought of having the bowman up from feeding the sheets across to insure the sheet does not drop over.

Good points and that is how we do it on our j109 How to Inside A-Sail Gybe in any conditions kzbin.info/www/bejne/n6vZm5-FpMaebrs On the mumm 36 there was very little gap between the luff of the kite and the forest at really hard to go inside without getting it twisted.
