Man, I’d give anything to relive those days again.

Thanks for the view and surroundings. I worked on the Boardwalk in 1995, I stayed in a motel a couple blocks a way, parked a few time on schellenger ave, I worked for the Morey's for the last few weeks of the summer as kids/J1 students returned back home for school. But whatever reason, I don't remember this building existing. I did eventually return to Wildwood 10 years later, after the fire in 2005, I think that was the year the water park opened their expansion. I'm going to keep looking, not sure why my brain can't remember this building from 1995.

This is wonderful, it feels like I'm there..many days and nights standing at these same spots, entranced by the ambiance of it all. There was a balloon pop stand on the side of the castle. I recall the man working there, in a wheelchair, super nice. He gave my little sister a free prize once. I saw him still working on the boardwalk, with the balloon pop, at a different location a few years ago. I was planning to talk to him this past year, and ask about his history on the boardwalk, but it seems his stand is no longer there (I think a basketball game is there now instead)

I wish they would bring it back. It was one of the best attractions on the boardwalk.

There was a funnel cake stand in the shops by the castle. Right next to the bb machine gun(shoot the red star) stand. It was ran by an older guy and had the best funnel cakes on the boards

This was the summers of my childhood. My father was one of the firefighters who helped with getting it put out.. he said the sprinklers gor the attraction were shut down during offseason but had it been on the castle would of survived
