Test footage, or rather a short film as it isn't completely a test, shot on my Fuji X-S10. Shot at 4K 24p, internally on 8 bit 4:2:0, Eterna film simulation baked in. Dynamic range set to 400, shutter speed 1/60, wide open at 1.4, iso ranged from 640 to 800. No speed adjustments, no warp stabilization.
I used Red Giant's Looks editor to add the anamorphic lens flare and additional colors. As you can probably tell, that pushed the 8 bit color to it's limits (as seen towards the end with artifacting around the door viewer (didn't know that's what those peepholes were called but Google told me so lol)).
This camera's IBIS/OIS was activated when shooting. I think it caused a jittery effect (seen at 0:30 - 0:40) when the camera is zoomed in digitally. This gives off that crappy slow motion look you get if you slow down a 24 fps video too much. I wouldn't recommend applying that Ken Burns effect to your hand held footage after learning this.
Going off that, I think I prefer the video without a color grade. It was fine by itself and looked very clean.
Up next is f-log, but I've heard bad things about shooting f-log in 8 bit 4:2:0. May do that next shoot with an external recorder to get 10 bit 4:2:2 and hopefully avoid artifacting!
